Joe rolled over and opened his eyes. He couldn’t remember what time he fell asleep, but it turned out he fell asleep on the couch. He looked to see if Kevin was there next to him, he wasn’t. He went into the Kitchen and looked at the clock..

“its only 8:30?” he yawned.

He poured him felt some cereal and went upstairs to his room. He went to check on Nick, Then Kevin to see if they were still sleeping, they were. He went into his room, turned on the T.V and sat down. After about 10 minutes extreme boredom came over him. He went into Kevin room. “Kevin wake up” he nudged him, “what??” Kevin whined “get up” Joe told him “why?” Kevin asked him “because I’m BORED” he whined..

Kevin looked over too the doorway to see Nick there rubbing his eyes he let out a weak smile “hey” he said to both Kevin and Joe, he didn’t look all that good “what’s wrong?” Kevin asked him “uh I don’t feel good.. That girl probably gave me something.. hah” he tried to laugh “oh.. Well you should tell mom, and Alicia, since you guys have been, you know, kissing each other?” Joe laughed Nick blushed “its true” Kevin agreed “okay, okay” he smiled “I’ll tell mom, but you tell Alicia” he looked over at Joe who was sitting on Kevin’s bed smiling “okay WE will” he smiled “whatever” Nick left the room to go ask his mother for medicine hoping it would get rid of his “flu like symptoms”.

Joe went into Nick’s room and grabbed his phone off the night stand. He picked up his phone and looked for Alicia’s number he called her and ran down stairs while it was still ringing “NICK!” he yelled “its ringing” they went into the living room and sat on the couch with the phone on speaker

“uh hellow?” she answered “hey” Nick and Joe said at the same time “heyy, why are you calling me so early?” she asked “well” Joe began but Nick cut him off “uhh I..I… I think I got a cold or something from that girl at the carnival yesterday, and.. Uhmm you might want to take something just in case.. I don’t want you sick or anything because of me” he waited for an answer “aww your so sweet, thanks Nick” she laughed “your welcome” he laughed, and blushed because he was still on speaker phone with his brother sitting right next to him. “well I got to go, ill see you later okay?” he told her “okay, I can’t wait..” she remembered her dream.. She waited for him to say those three words “neither can I, I love you” he told her again “I love you too” she smiled “bye” he smiled and Joe looked at him “bye” she hung up, and got ready for the day.

“yes Nicholas?” she answered “uhmm.. I don’t really feel good” she looked at him “okay” she exhaled “what wrong hun?” she asked him “I have a headache and a stuffy nose” she put her hand on his forehead “Nick you’ve got a fever” she opened the medicine cabinet and handed him a white pill “take this and it will got away soon” he took it for her and swallowed it “how soon?” he asked “why?” she asked him “well.. I wanted to go over to Sarah and Alicia’s house like soon..” she looked at him “Nicholas Jerry Jonas, you are not leaving this house until your fever is gone” he dared not to argue with her “okay mom, thanks for the medicine” he walked upstairs “your welcome Nick, im sorry but I don’t want you to get sicker, I love you hunny” he looked back at her “I love you too mom” he walked up the stairs and into his room.
