Sarah woke up to her alarm clock around 10:30 in the morning. She wanted to be up when her older sister Jessica got there. Sarah took a shower got dressed and woke up her friend Alicia, because she had to keep in shape for dance. “leesh.. Wake up!” she shook her. “ughhh I’m up!!” she yelled. “ok fine.. God” Sarah replied. “aren’t you forgetting something?” she asked? “ooh yeahhhhh!!!! HAPPY BIRFDAY!” Alicia hugged her friend. “ha-ha thanks leesh!”. “you are very welcome, but I gotta go.. I have to go running. Ill be back as soon as I can” she said, not mentioning that nick was coming with her. “oh ok” she half smiled. “ill just wait here for my sister. “ “okay she smiled” she put on her running clothes and walked out the door.
Nicks alarm clock went off, he jumped out of bed, put on some shorts (which he never really wears) a t-shirt, and a hat because his hair was a mess. And just as he got to his door it rang. “hey” he said as he opened the door. “hey” she smiled. “you ready?” he asked. “yep” she replied. “then lets go” he smiled. “okay” she smiled back. They jogged for a while until nick brought up her school life. “so.. Do you like anyone at your school” he asked her. “nope” she said. “why not?”.. “hmm I don’t really know.. But I know I do like someone outside of school” she smiled. She was playing games with him. “oh.. Same here” he said, even though nick was home schooled. “so who do you like?” she asked. He decided to play “her game” “this girl” he replied. “oh..” she said. “where does she live?” she asked him. “in new jersey” he answered. “oh that’s cool.” she replied. They jogged for about a half a mile and stopped at the park that was located in there subdivision. “so” nick said “what are you doing tomorrow?”
“uhmm nothing I think” she responded. “well.. Joe, Kevin and I are going to the fair tomorrow.. Do you want to come with us?”. he asked. “yeah!” she almost screamed, “I would like that” she smiled. “yeah me too” he smiled back. “we should get back now” she said “its Sarah’s birthday today, and she REALLY wants Kevin to meet her sister,.” she told him “ok” he wanted to spend more time with her, but it WAS her best friends birthday. “Kevin really does need someone to hang out with, so that would be great…”. “hah your right. Lets go” she laughed. They jogged for a while, it took them about 20 minutes to get back home. Finally they got there, nick was so thirsty, but Alicia looked exactly the same as when she and he left.
“so when will I see you again.. Like later today I mean” he nervously asked when they were at her front door. “well.. How about you Kevin and nick come over in about two hours, and you three plan something really special for Sarah, and come on about an hour” she smiled, he smiled back “okay” he replied “well bye” she said shyly. He smiled at her “bye” he kissed her on the cheek and left. She smiled and walked inside.
“hey!!” Sarah’s sister Jessica squealed as she went to hug Alicia “hey!!” she hugged her back. “me and Sarah have a surprise for you” Alicia looked at Sarah, Sarah looked confused.. “ohhhh!” she finally realized “yeah you’ll LOVE it!”. “well” Jessica said. “I have a surprise for the BOTH of you!” she held up to Jonas Brothers Tickets. “aww thanks Jessica!” Alicia said, even though the Jonas Brothers lived three houses down from them she would still go and see their concert, with her best friend, AND her sister.
“when is the concert?!” Sarah asked. “Monday” hmm Sarah thought, maybe we should wait until then to tell her about the surprise.. “so..” Jessica asked “what’s the surprise?”. “what surprise? Who said anything about a surprise?!” she looked at Alicia. “we will be right back..” Alicia told Jessica “uh okay?” Jessica replied a little confused. Alicia and Sarah went to their room upstairs.” ALICIA! What are we going to do?”
“we are going to go to the concert anyways..” Alicia told Sarah, “fine, that works.” she said. “ok well they are coming over later. They planned something special for you” she smiled. “really?!” she screamed “yeah really.” she smiled to her friend.. “well” she looked at Sarah “I have to hope in the shower.. Im all sweaty.. And they will be here in an hour so you might want to get everything ready for the surprise and all” she told her. “okay, see you in a bit!” Sarah walked you the door, and Alicia hopped in the shower.

“HEYYYOO!” Joe screamed. “how was your run?” he asked. “really, really, tiring.” he said exhausted. “oh, well that sucks” he laughed. Joe was sitting down watching TV “where is Kevin?” he asked Joe.. “upstairs, practicing the guitar, why” he asked. “we need to like sing happy birthday to Sarah, I think it would be nice” he told Joe “yeah that sounds great, and Kevin can meet Jessica.. Actually we all can.” he smiled “ill get Kevin you get in the shower.. Because you look gross.” he laughed and walked upstairs.
I look gross? Nick thought o himself. Great. I wonder what Alicia thinks.. He walked upstairs to the bathroom.. He spent 30 minutes in the shower and only had about 20 to get ready.
Alicia got out of the shower and dried her wavy golden brown hair applied her makeup, and put on a shot cute yellow sun dress that was hanging up in her closet. She looked gorgeous. She walked down stairs. Jessica and Sarah were talking about sister stuff. She sat down next to Jessica and asked her what they were talking about “my surprise” she responded. “oh, ha-ha” she laughed, and smiled at Sarah, she smiled back. “what time are they coming over?” she looked at Alicia “anytime now” she smiled. She couldn’t wait to see him. “who’s they?” she asked them. “your surprise!” they responded. “so” Sarah said “who’s your favorite Jonas Brother?” Alicia asked “KEVIN!”. “oh ha-ha” she laughed why? “because he is so adorable!” Jessica laughed ”I want to meet him so bad!”. “ I cant wait to see them in concert” Sarah said. They talked for about 15 more minutes.. Where could they be Alicia thought..
Nick was ALMOST ready, he just had to brush his teeth and put a shirt on he whore a green shirt, with black skinny jeans and black converse. He look good, really good. Joe was wearing a headband in his hair, jeans, and a purple shirt. With multi colored Nikes. Obviously he didn’t really care what he looked like, but Kevin looked pretty good. Good enough for Jessica??
“Hurry up!” Joe screamed. “im coming!” Nick ran down the stairs. “its about time” Kevin said impatiently.
“lets go” nick said, he could wait to see Alicia. Kevin grabbed his guitar and walked out the door.
They walked up to the door and rang the doorbell. Kevin heard footsteps and someone’s voice yelling “they’re here!” he saw Sarah’s shadow and obviously her sister behind her, followed by Alicia. Sarah opened the door and yelled “surprise!” “OH MY GOD!” she smiling a bright smile. Her teeth were perfectly white and she had tan skin, and golden blond hair. Kevin thought she was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. “h..h..h. hi” he said “im Kevin” he said holding out his hand “I know” she smiled “im Jessica” she smiled back. “I know” he smiled again. she moved his hand out of the way and gave him a hug. He smelled really good she thought. She smelled really good he thought. They eventually stop hugging and walked inside with the rest of the group who were already sitting on the couch watching the wrestling.. Wonder who picked that.. JOE! Nick didn’t really care what they were watching, because he was too busy talking to Alicia.. Actually none of them did it was just on.
“so nick” Alicia asked. “I think you guys should sing to Sarah now” she told him. “okay”
He smiled. “JOE!” he yelled at him. “what?” lets do the thing. “oh the thing.” he said. “c’mon Kevin” Kevin grabbed his guitar and they sat next to each other the girls watched them. Joe said “this song is dedicated to a very special girl named Sarah. She smiled at him. He smiled back. Kevin started strumming the guitar, and nick cleared his throat. Nick sang harmony, Joe sang melody. “happy Birthday to youu, Happy birthhday to you. Happy birthdayy dear Sarahhh! Happy birthdayy to you!” everyone clapped. “thanks you! Thank you very much!” Joe laughed, “you have all been a great audience” he looked at Sarah. “thanks!” she yelled, and got up and hugged him, he hugged her back. “you are very welcome!” he laughed.
They really didn’t do anything the rest of the night except talk to each other and have fun.
At one point Alicia’s phone rang. “hello?” she answered. “hey!” she squealed. “who is it?” Nick whispered to her. “one of my really good friends from California, I lived there before I moved to new jersey.” she smiled. “ohh, you can go talk to her if you want” he said. “thanks, ill be right back!” she walked away.
“soOo” Joe looked at Nick. “I heard from a certain someone you like Alicia?” Nick looked at Kevin and shot him a thanks a lot look. “so it true?” Sarah asked him, he started to blush. “aww he’s blushing” Jessica said “that’s so cute!” she smiled at him. He tried to smiled back but didn’t . “ha-ha you do like her!” Joe yelled. “ok fine I do!” he finally said. “but don’t say anything..” he told them “well its kind of obvious” Sarah told him, I mean you two do talk a lot!” she laughed “whatever.. “ he said under his breath..”so when are you going to tell her?” Kevin asked him. “I don’t know” he answered. “well you better do it soon” Sarah told him. “okay, why?” he asked her. “well I know for a fact she likes you, because she never has been so like unshy around a guy before and if you don‘t tell her she might stop liking you.. Trust me I know.” she said to him.. Knowing that wasn’t true. When Alicia likes someone, She likes someone.. For a long, long time. “okay” he smiled, “I will” he thought, either tonight or tomorrow, hopefully tonight depending on how the night goes.
“what did I miss?” Alicia asked them “uh nothing!” they all said at once. “uh okay?” she sat down next to nick, and they all watched transformers. Half way through the movie nick whispered in Alicia’s ear “will you come outside with me? I need some fresh air.” she smiled at, he smiled back “sure” they walked outside, and ended up going on a walked instead of standing on the porch. “remember when we were talking about the people we liked?” he asked her “yeah” she said shyly “well what if I told you that you were the girl I liked?” it took her a while to respond, he was getting nervous and wished he didn’t say anything. “Then” she said “I would be really happy” she looked up at him and smiled. “so your saying you like me?” he asked blushing. “are you saying you like me?” she asked him she was really really happy. “yeah” he smiled, “then yeah” she smiled back. “ha-ha good” he looked at her. Even though we have known each other for like four days, will you be my girlfriend? I’ve never really done this before, but I feel like a different person, and im really happy when im around you. And I’ve never really felt that way before about someone” he felt relieved getting all of that out. Its been bubbling up inside of him ever since the first day he laid eyes on her. “me too” she smiled, “so will you?” he asked. “absolutely” she felt like the happiest girl in the world. “he gave her a kiss and they walked back to the house holding hands.
They walked in the door, and Joe grabbed Nicks free arm and said “how’d it go?” he smiled at his older brother “great” and followed Alicia to the couch sat down and put her arm around her. Joe was sitting next to Sarah and pointed to them, then she told Kevin who told Jessica “AWWW!” they said. Nick grabbed the nearest pillow and threw it at Joe. It hit him right in the middle of the face. He stood there staring at Nick after it hit him, trying to keep a straight face. They both were looking right at each other, Alicia got up, she didn’t want to be involved…
“PILLOW FIGHT!” Joe screamed Nick and Kevin picked up some pillows and started hitting each other with them. Jessica grabbed the nearest pillow and hit Kevin on the back, he turned around and smiled.. “oops?!” she smiled “yeah oops!” she ran, and he ran after her. “AHHHH!” she screamed. Sarah and Alicia looked at each other. “you got Joe and ive got Nick” Alicia whispered. Nick and Joe were still hitting each other with the pillows, but Nick was trying to look for Alicia at the same time, then suddenly he felt a big smack on his back. He turned around and saw her there, he also chased her. Sarah ran towards Joe and tackled him to the couch. “DOG PILE ON JOE!” she screamed. Every one raced over to him and her and sat on top of them. Joe and Sarah were getting squished, so at the same time the tilted their bodies to the side, and everyone went tumbling on the carpet. Everyone was laughing hysterically. It took them about 15 minutes to calm themselves down. “wow” Kevin said “that was the best pillow fight I have ever had”. “I know!!” they all agreed. “and this was the best birthday I have ever had!”
“yes it was!” Alicia said. Jessica looked at the clock. It was 12:30. “you guys.. Its really late, maybe you should go before we all get in trouble” she told them “your right” said Kevin “yeah” said Joe and Nick, they didn’t want to leave but they had too. The girls didn’t want them to leave either. “we will see you guys tomorrow right?” Nick asked them “yeah definitely” Alicia responded “what time are we going to leave to go to the fair?” Sarah asked “about 10ish, its about 30 minutes away, and I want to be there early!” he laughed “ha-ha ok” she smiled. “then we will se you at 10!” Jessica told them.” it was nice meeting you” she said to Kevin and gave him another hug “you too” he smiled “goodnight” he looked at her, “goodnight” she said. “Nick Alicia” Nick Blushed and smiled, he walked over to give her a hug “Night Nick” she smiled “ I can’t wait till tomorrow” she blushed “ditto” he smiled “ha-ha bye” she laughed “bye” he smiled. “bye!” Joe yelled to Sarah “bye Joe!” she yelled back. Then she closed the door. They cleaned up the mess in there house, and walked up the stairs to their bedrooms. Alicia walked on the balcony nick was already there. “ha-ha hey” she smiled “hey!” he smiled back. “why are you out here?” he asked her “ha-ha I don’t know?” she laughed. He laughed. “Nick get in your room! And go to sleep!” his mom called, he looked at her “sorry” he sighed “ill se you tomorrow, goodnight” he blushed, “night” she smiled. They both walked in and laid down. The rest of their family had already gone to sleep. They were both so happy, it took them a while to fall asleep.
