-when you look me in the eyes “ALICIAAAAA!!” Sarah screamed. “WAKE UP!!!”. “what? Huh?” Alicia yawned. “we are hanging out with the Jonas brothers again today!” she said with excitement “ohh yeaahhh” she remembered. GREAT. Alicia was too tired to really do anything. All she wanted to do was go back to sleep, but Sarah was jumping all over her to get her up. She remembered she HAD to do whatever her friend wanted until tomorrow. Thank god she thought. “okay. Im going to go take a shower, and then we will walk over. Ok?” Alicia asked Sarah. “okay!” she agreed. “I’m going to go get ready, and change out of my PJ’ s into some clothes.” Sarah exclaimed”. “OKAY” Leesh yawned. Sarah ran into her walking in closet and pulled out a pair of really white shorts, and a tan tank top with brown and red flowers all over it. She examined herself in the mirror. She looked great. She smiled, walked over to here jewelry box and grabbed to brown leather bracelets and put them in her wrists, went back over to here mirror and brushed her hair. Alicia got out of the shower walked over to into the OTHER walk in closet and looked for something cute to wear. She chose her black shorts (the same ones Sarah had but in black) and a grey tank top with beautiful light blue, dark blue, and black flowers on it. She also went over to her jewelry box and grabbed her silver necklace with her little pearl on it. She was ready. “your ringing the doorbell, and your talking” Alicia said as they were walking down the street the Jonas‘s house. “uh ok”. hmm I wonder what they have got planned for today? Alicia thought to herself. And she hoped it wasn’t swimming. They finally reached their front door. DIINNGG DOOONNNGGG, it rang. She heard footsteps, who was it? she thought. “HELLOOOOO!” said the loud voice. Joe. “hey Joe!” Sarah smiled. Alicia suddenly had a feeling Sarah liked Joe, since she never really talked to any of the other Jo Bros. “so what are we doing today?”. “uh I don’t really know? lemme go ask Kevin” he raced off. Suddenly Joe re-appeared with Nick and Kevin. “hey” Kevin and Nick said. “hey” Alicia said. Sarah was to busy talking to Joe. AGAIN! “I thought we would like go out to eat or something” Kevin said. “like we all could get to know each other??” he asked. “sure!” Alicia replied. They walked out to Kevin’s car, buckled up, and they were off. Joe and Kevin were in the front, Nick, Alicia and Sarah were in the back. Just Alicia’s luck. She was sitting next to nick. Its not that she didn’t like him, she did A LOT. But she felt kind of awkward sitting close to him, really close. Alicia thought for a second.. Ugh she thought.. Why do I have to be so shy?! She built up enough confidence to say something to nick. “so.. “ she said, he looked at her and smiled. “yeah?” he said. “uh.. Umm, what’s your favorite song? I.. I mean that you sing..” why did I say that? She thought. “probably hello beautiful” he replied. “but I like them all” he said again. “do you like that song?” he asked her. “yeah” she answered. “actually its my favorite. I sing it all the time.” she smiled. “ha-ha thanks” he smiled. He thought about last night on the porch. “I bet you have a really good voice” he smiled again. Her eyes widened.. He must have heard me last night.. she thought.. Damn. “ha-ha yeah, everyone tells me I do” she smiled back. “yeah well maybe when we get back to my house I can grab my guitar and you can sing for us?” he asked. Uh no, she thought. How could she get out of this one? She thought again she replied with a simple “maybe” she smiled. He smiled back. Finally they got there. It took about twenty minutes. Alicia tried to sound out the name of the restaurant. It was to.. To.. Hard. Their waiter seated them and asked them what they all wanted to drink. “I would like raspberry lemonade” Alicia answered back. “yeah me too” nick smiled. He and Alicia were sitting across from each other. “and what would you all like to drink” the waiter asked Kevin, Joe and Sarah. “uhmm” they all thought. “uhm we’ll just have what they are having” Joe pointed to nick and Alicia who were talking about something. “okay” he smiled and wrote down what they wanted to drink on he writing pad. “ill be back with you’re drinks” he smiled and left. “so” nick said looking at Alicia. “where do you live?”. “I live in new jersey” she answered. “oh me to!” he smiled. I know she thought. “what part is it again?” she asked. “Wyckoff” he answered. “you?” he asked. “I live like 25 minutes away from there” she smiled. “so maybe you could come and visit us?!” he grinned. “yeah” she grinned back. “so” she said. ‘how long are you going to be here?” she asked. “the whole summer. Just to relax and work on new songs.” he smiled, hoping she would say the same thing, but not about the writing songs part… ahem! “ohmegosh” she laughed. He liked the way she said that. “us too!” he was relieved. “do you play any instruments?” he asked her. “actually I do” she answered. Wow he thought. “what?! I..I. mean what instrument?” he asked.. “the guitar..” she smiled a big smile knowing he be impressed.. Which he was, very impressed. “wow.. We should like play together when we get back? Maybe you could help me write a song?” AHA! “maybe” she smiled. Their drinks finally got there. Alicia wasn’t really hungry, so she didn’t get anything. Joe ordered pizza, and so did Sarah. Kevin ordered this weird soup, and nick got a cheeseburger and a lot of French fries. All this food was making her really hungry. She reached over and grabbed one of nicks fries. He looked at her and smiled. “go ahead” he laughed. “thanks” she said. “I’m so full!” Joe laid back in to his seat. “me too!” said Sarah, she did the same. “ok” Kevin said “lets go” and He placed a bill on the table. It was the same seating arrangements back. And it took them the same amount of time to get back. “so Alicia, will you sing for us?” they asked once they walked in the door. “ughh ok” she whined. She grabbed one of nicks guitars and started playing ally and Aj’s “on the ride” “we don’t have to try.. To think the same thoughts. We just have a way of knowing everything’s gonna be okay. We laugh till we cry, we read each other minds, live with a smile to make it all worth while, make it all worth while.. Life has moments hard to describe feeling fine, feeling the life never coming down from this now that we on.. Alicia blushed “thanks” she said looking directly at nick. “so guys” she asked “what do you want to do?”. “I don’t know..” said Joe “hmm lets write a song!” he yelled. Yes nick thought, finally. Ha-ha everyone thought. “about your age” Sarah said. Thanks god. “well we will walk you guys back” Nick said. “okay” Alicia Smiled. They walked them to the front door. Alicia gave Joe a hug, then Kevin and Lastly Nick. She also gave him a kiss on the cheek and whispered “goodnight” he looked at her and blushed and said “night” and walked away. Sarah was excited her sister was coming and could wait to tell her the surprise she had for her. Now Kevin wasn’t like alone anymore. And she also loved the Jonas Brothers. She decided she should hop in the shower and go to bed, since she had to wake up early to greet her sister as soon as she walked in the door. “GOODNIGHT” she yelled to here parent and Alicia who was sitting on the balcony. Wonder why? Alicia sat outside waiting for nick. She knew he would be outside. She saw someone open the door to the porch and walk out onto the balcony. And sure enough it was him. But h e didn’t have his guitar. She leaned over the railing and called down to him. “hey! What’s up?” she said. He looked up surprised. He was happy to see her. “nothing” he called back. “so why are you out here” he said. “to tell you the truth I thought you’d come out here so I did.” she laughed “ha-ha yeah me too” he laughed. “so where are your brothers?” she smiled. “they are wrestling over the remote” he smiled back. “oh, hopefully they don’t get hurt!” she laughed “yeah hope not” he said. “well waddya wanna do tomorrow?” he asked. “well I have to go running in the morning.” she said “wanna come?” she asked hoping he would say yes. “yeah id love to!” he yelled. “well you better get some sleep!“ she replied “I guess” he said. He wanted to talk longer. “goodnight!” she yelled! “night” he yelled back. He walked back in the house and told his brothers he was going to sleep. “this early?!” they yelled still fighting. “yeah” he replied. “I’m going running” he smiled. “ok but just be careful, you don’t want your diabetes to act up” Kevin warned. “it wont” he hoped. “well night guys, see you whenever I get back.” he actually sounded tired. “night bro” Joe said “night” Kevin called after him. Alicia climbed into her bed and laid down. She wondered if nick was thinking about her right now. He was. But she didn’t know that obviously. Eventually she dozed off. She couldn’t wait until tomorrow. Neither could Nick. Actually Neither could all of them. They all knew something good was going to happen, they just didn’t know what. |
