| GASPLook at what I found?! Looks familiar, right? Well, mine is still cooler. Copycats...it was not originally made in the U.S....
Yes, I was on forever21.com instead of starting my research eassy or my final take home essay (the due dates have been extened to next week...I haven't started!) I just got off work about an hour ago. I'm actually gonna miss Interning at Techbridge. I mean seriously, I would go and help out without a stipend. They're all so nice! December is leaving Techbridge =O. Her last day is tuesday, but she is moving on to do what Techbridge encourages their girls to do: pursue a career in science! I have a strange desire to go shopping for colorful socks and skinny jeans...and 10 different colored tank tops. I also want to have breakfest with Arden again. Haven't seen her since the day before she left to Mexico. Hmmm. Mathieu is arriving tonight! I really am curious as to how much he changed this time. I'm still sad about Celine not being able to come, they just shot me down when they told me she will be staying with her parents. =/ Edward Wu is gone, and we all miss him. Everyone is too lazy to go hiking in the morning now that Sue, Ralf, and Edward left for Hong Kong. It feels like.......I feel like...I wanna buy a big fancy specialty shop type chocolate chip cookie right now. But Linda brought in pound cake today for our last day at work, so I shouldn't have anymore sweets. Ah geez. There's a take-out box full of fortune cookies in front of me. My mom must've gotten them from some clients of hers. Hmm....there are also crackers, candy, and granola bars.... I'm just now getting tired of having a granola bar everyday. I mean, they're still good, it's just that I want something different. A treat to look forward to. You know, I could just walk next door and buy myself a cookie. I do deserve a treat, right? I mean, we've been working hard all day finishing up the curriculums at Techbridge. And that pound cake was balanced out by the strawberries that I ate with it. Hmmmmm yes..... Or I can just go back to working on my essays. Ah Teresa, you're such a party pooper. | | |
| I want to work at Google one day! Go set your facebook and myspace on private! Have you heard of Bebo? The AP Music Theory test looks hard AHHHHHHHHHHH. I just looked to my right. (King Lear, my reading journal, english class handout for major theme essay, and Rereading America. ewwy) I've barely touched my French Summer assignments yet. Is it a resonable excuse that I'm waiting for my cousin to come to that he can help me and I can get it done quicker? Oh NO Edward Wu is leaving soon. | | |
| tidbitsTechbridge Internship I started my 2-week internship for Techbridge this week. Supposedly, I made $100 the past two days =O. Reminds me of Arden and her first paycheck from Lauren's Closet. Oh no. Once she comes back from Mexico, I might actually be willing to spend more on our breakfests/shopping. Oh! Tomorrow we're going to Google. I remember my first time there years ago...probably at Montera, with Techbridge! They are awesome.Techbridge, that is. Monika's back! Oui oui, elle a retourner le mercredi dernier! Hehe, she brought us back magnets and coins from London... Dance class For the past two weeks, Mrs.James haven't shown up to class! Pourquoi?! Instead, Carla taught us. It has been very interesting, to say at least. I mean, we're doing hip hop. Haha....I remember when I had to do hip hop for Ann's dance last year. I could see Phred laughing at me out of the corner of my eye when I practiced. I hope Mrs.James comes back next week.
I miss my long hair almost as much as I miss Mrs.James. Kristin's Party It was tres amusant! After lunch we started the sumo fights. We took turns and did that for hours...haha. Well, it was entertaining to watch and to fight, I laughed so hard that I could sumo any longer. We looked ridiculous but it was worth it. Ice cream and cake....yumm. Then we had a water fight. Got completely soaked. We didn't have enough waterguns to go around so the hose and water bottles were put to use...
Shippo Happy 17th Birthday Trisha! I miss that squirt (hehehe). TV Time I actually sat down after dinner today and watched TV and did nothing else, till now. I'm slightly surprised, I mean, I do have a lot of homework and reading to do.... now that I reminded myself, darn it. Well anyway, I watched some Gilmore Girls, American's Got Talent (the judeges annoy me a lot), In the Lot (I only saw the end, it's interesting to watch, filming/directing, it's something I'd like to learn to do), Beauty and the Geek, Hannah Montana, House (yay. now I know, it shows on tuesdays at 9...) Pictures from Grace From last of Choir :(

| Summer UpdateMy first Abercromie shirt First of all, I didn't buy it. So the story behind the shirt...hm. ADREN'S 16th BIRTHDAY party. Yep. That was a couple weeks ago. I had a lot more fun than I expected to have (I didn't know half of the the people she invited, a group of 9). Well, I had a blast, and Arden's last minute change of plans worked out well. I liked the group, even though they were all sophomores whom I barely know except for Nora. We waited till pretty late like 8 or 8:30 before we walked down to Tomatina's for dinner. We ate for a long time, me and Arden split a pasta and a piadini (um, first time having that, don't know how it's spelled). Yumm. Then we sang "Happy Birthday" and she got a free slice of chocolate cake with ice cream and whipped cream. All 9 of us dung in to it, hehe.Theeen we went back to her house for a clothing exchange!! It was fun. That's where the Abercromie shirt comes in. I brought in two shirts. One Arden took, the other Zoe took. And I got Zoe's cardigan, Grace's jeans, and Nora's shirt. We had MORE ice cream and angel food cake :). THE END. Senior Portrait I went to take my senior portrait today. It was fun actually. Maybe in another life I'll get to be a model or something, it looks like it could be fun, hehehe. HOLD ON. Norah Jones' "Don't Know Why" just came on, must sing along. Ok so I got free makeup "service" from one of my mom's clients who offered to do it for me a couple hours before my appointment. All that makeup felt weird, and it felt like I looked weird. It felt nice to wash it all off. I kinda liked the natural look with only some of the eye liner and mascara on that I couldn't get off. hehe. Edward, Sue, and Ralph A big part of my summer has had something to do with Edward Wu. Since he came, we always get invited to activities with him and my cousins. It's been fun. He's gonna be such a charming and handsome boy :] (naughty at times...) Now that his mom and Ralph came over (last friday), Edwards is totally in the center of attention. Dragon Boat Got myself to finally go to dragon boat after like a month. And it was fun. I was feeling really bubbly at the beginning. I wasn't able to have lunch with Arden cause my parents are starting to complain again about my "social activities". But anyways, I was the second person to get there after Chris. Then Ricky came and they boasted about the natural test taking abilities and AP scores. Then during practice, I met John. He's the newest newbie. He's really nice, and he has lived in China, NY, and Chicago! Mathieu Mathieu is coming on the 26th. I've been hearing about his "problems" back in Paris and reasons why he's being "sent" here for schooling. Jack told me some disturbing things, but that's not anything I can share. Sigh. Well, I'm still excited to have a part of France come to me since I can't go visit. Kristin's 17th Birthday Party Imagine...battling it out with blow-up Sumo outfits in Kristin's backyard. And later a water fight. Plus food. It's gonna be awesome :]. Ahh! Still have to think up a gift for her. And one for Monika! Her party will probably happen once she gets back from Paris. Monika in France I recieved a postcard from Monika today :D She was at the top of the Tour Eiffel. I think she's coming back on wednesday after a planned trip to Paris, London, and back to Paris for a week in a rented apartment. Sounds like she's having fun. I must go back to visit Paris soon (before I graduate...!) Myspace Haven't been there for weeks! And I'm proud of that. I feel no need of going back on, maybe I should quit :). Well, I should check up on comments...but should I ruin my record? | | |
| Summer <3Summer has been satisfying. I've managed to keep myself busy everyday since school got out, yay me. I don't like that feeling of when you wake up late and feel like half your day has gone to waste and you feel sleepy all day and have nothing to do but sit around feeling lazy and blehhh.... I'll try not to let that happen to me. There are plenty of things I can do if I needed to keep myself occupied. Luckly, Edward Wu is here - always feel a lot more like "vacation" when someone from somewhere that's not here comes to visit. I wish I could go to Hong Kong and visit him sometimes instead though. Well he's leaving in mid-July, and soon after, Mathieu will be coming! So, even if I find nothing to do, which isn't likely, I can always find a way to entertain our guest. Oui. Ya know, even though this summer everyone is going everywhere but me, I'm gonna make the most of my second to last summer before college. eek. Monika just left for PARIS today with her family - it's their first time visiting Europe, if only I could join them! Arden is going to Mexico soon and her birthday "party" which was supposed to be today was postponed due to her feeling "ill" (I might be getting sick myself, oh no). Eva went to visit UC campuses in Southern California with EAOP (never heard about it, or I would've gone!). A bunch of people are going to China or touring some part of Asia - that's what I have to do next summer. So my plans are... my english class at Merritt (boo) with Kristin (yay). Then internship in July and LeadU in August. I'm also organizing a personal-ish thing that is career oriented. I want to write up a list of different careers I'm interested and the people I know who are in thast field, contact them, and schedule a time to follow them around for a day or for a few hours to see what it would be like to be in their profession some day. Yes, this sounds productive and worthy to be mentioned in college apps. OH gotta go, bye! | | |
