Rules:
- no jocking. i spent my time making the layouts, they stay on my site. linking me is acceptable, though.
- leave the link to my site on the layout. have some respect and give me credit.
- save all pictures and backgrounds to your own server. if everyone uses my link, the bandwith will soon be exceeded and then boo-hoo.. you don't have a picture anymore.
- use a layout? subscribe to me. kthnx.
- no requests. so please don't ask.
- don't like my layouts? don't complain to me--find another site.
Problems? Read this:
- any layout in which the left module is not shown contains a code that hides the module on the public site. don't worry, you can still access it on your private site (http://xanga.com/private/home.aspx?user=USERNAME).
- all codes provided are to be pasted into the "Input Header HTML" section unless otherwise specified.
- no search bars. they're ugly and detract from the layout's look. hide them in your look & feel. if you need to do a search, there's a lovely link back to the xanga homepage which has a searchbar. if you're stupid enough to keep your searchbar, then you're now faced with the task of designing it to go with the layout, as i often do not code for the searchbar in my layouts.
- don't forget to uncheck the underline boxes in the links section of your look & feel, as sometimes options on the main l & f page override layout codes.
- does the layout not look right after you've pasted the code into your xanga? you most likely don't have your xanga aligned properly (it's at the top of look & feel). if the layout appears aligned centered, align your xanga centered.. if the layout appears to the left, align your xanga left. it's not difficult. also, make sure your xanga is at 100% as that is the setting i used when i made the layouts.
