    Xanga- The Comeback Kid?

Man!  It has been a long time since I updated my xanga.  Poor xanga.....it's had to take a back seat to all the trendier blog/social networking sites.  I miss the old xanga days, but posting all the time can be a pain in the butt....I guess that's why I haven't been posting on here as of late... plus the fact that xanga seems to have fallen out of favor.  Can a site become en vogue once again after it has been relegated to the virtual sidelines by most netizens(wow...there's a term I haven't used or even heard in a long time)?  The web/net is still a cool place and it grows larger and larger by the day, but I have to admit that though I spend more time than ever using the web, it has lost some of its mystique and allure that it had when it was young and wild and free....back when it was the new frontier.  Back to my question before I started rambling and waxing nostalgic.  Can an old site that was once the darling or one of the darlings of its day become again something that garners attention and even adulation from users and media alike?  I know xanga would like to make that a reality, but I just wonder if it ever will be again.  I honestly doubt it, but I have learned never to say never because stranger things have happened.  I had to get in a few cliches.  Well, I guess that's all I am going to write about that now.

    Soles 4 Souls

Soles 4 Souls is a charity of shoe people who are making a difference in the world for good one pair at a time. They have partnered with us(Harvest Evangelism) twice now in Mexico. The first time was this past July and then just last week they sent down another 18 wheeler full of shoes for us to distribute during our annual Christmas outreach in Reynosa, MX. The founder and one other staff member came down and spent a day with us as we gave out shoes to those in Mexico who needed them. It's a pretty cool organization.

About Me

  • I used to say that "it don't mean a thanga if you ain't got that xanga," but now apparently something can mean a thanga though it does not have that xanga. C'est la vie, Xanga!
