| Does anybody even read this anymore??? I know I don't. | | |
| Okay.....
So, maybe it's been awhile. Well, I was busy.
I'll fill everyone in on the happenings of the last few months...
I got my MCAT scores back, and they weren't good, so I took the MCAT again on Aug. 19th. My internship went well, and I got an A in LA401. Rush was pretty crappy, but only 33 guys were eligible for bids (freakin rediculous), and the one house that got the majority already has rumors of people about to drop (don't want to jinx myself, but I find that exciting), and we have other people interested.
I'm pretty much ready to go, just have to get everyting packed, finish my AMCAS (med school application service), and say goodbye to my family and Amanda.
There you go: the last 3 months summed up.
Have a good fall everyone, and I'll see you in January!

| Yay for school being over for the summer. I am in the midst of summer 401, but I'm taking it at the nursing school. Talk about being easier than I expected. The timetable is still demanding, but the actual classes and homework aren't very difficult.
Otherwise, I FREAKIN LOVE MY JOB! Yesterday was my first day working at the Kidney Institute at KUMed, and it was awe-inspiring. I'll actually get to help with experiments and everything else that naturally comes with them, and get to do work where I actually get to use the stuff I've been learning for the past three years!!! (I'm just pretty psyched that I'm not their lab wench who would just stand there fetching things and washing dishes all day.)
That's about it...I just have to start the long and arduous process of getting prepared to study abroad for four months...I leave on August 31. So, that makes approximately 85 days and 10 hours before I get on a plane for Heidelberg. I'll miss people, but I'm starting to get a little bit anxious at the thought of going.
That's all for now, folks.

P.S. Still no word about the MCAT...I'll keep checking. | | |
| Well, school is officially over for the year...except not really. Even though I still have to take 401 this summer, I'm still looking forward to it. Plus, have 6 days from now until I can legally do everything that I've been doing anyway since I was 16.
If you guys are going to Robin and Tara's wedding, you'll get to see me on my D-Day...

| I'M FINISHED WITH THE MUTHAF**IN MCAT, BITCHES!!!!
I get to have some semblance of a life again. It's kinda weird, and I don't think it's sunk in to me, because even now, I'm still in the panic mode where I keep telling myself that I need to study, even though.....well, I think you get the picture.
So, it'll be around the beginning of June or so when I find out how I did...all I can do is cross my fingers until then.
