| Flowers, AGAIN!I can't believe I am going through all this again. it stinks. I hate it. I hate it that my husband is grieving again, hate it that people are consoling him *again*, 2nd time in 7 months, hate it that there is more food here (well not really), had cake for breakfast, hate it that we are repotting plants *again*. which I love doing, but still. Hubby and I bought pots and repotted three plants yesterday. Bought root hormone. He wants to root some roses. never heard of anyone doing that. I hope it works. Waiting for the rest of the cut flowers to start wilting (wahhh!!) so I can dehydrate them. gorgeous flowers. Dee was very good at flowers. her snapdragons were the best I have ever seen. As soon as I saw snapdragons in two of the arrangements I sobbed. Now they are in my house. FIL is not doing well. could very well be that hubby will lose both his parents and his son inside a year. The only local grandparents. Sarah (3) may barely remember Dee.

| My MIL. can we handle any more loss? FIL is not healthy. Went to funeral home today, the flowers are already pouring in. oh...my...goodness. I JUST finished processing (repotting or drying/pressing) flowers! and food everywhere. I burst into tears when I saw her favorite flowers among the bouquets and also when I saw a man offering condolensces to Albert. it's like a bad dream.

| ditch the nursing brasHannah my 10 year old needed to upgrade from a trainer to a real bra. I have only nursing bras and am nursing no one :(. I have only owned nursing bras for 13 years. the ones I am wearing were from the 5 year old, dingy and old and broken down. think of how intimate/much action we have with our bras when we are exclusively nursing. How many times a day do we actually touch and handle nursing bra? hmmm, baby (assuming only one, I've tandemed twice) nurses @ least 10 times a day. have fasten **and** unfasted 2 times for every nursing. 20 times a day I fiddled with the latches or readusted myself. for 13 years. now my bra and therefore breasts are seeing (comparatively) no action. It's a HUGE step. and emotional. Since women's bodies are run by hormones which are very mixed up with baby mommy bonding and breastfeeding.....this is also why work-outside-the-home mommies feel 'attached' to their pumps. we emotionally bond with anything that sucks on our nipples. husbands included. it's a grand design. our Designer knows exactly what He is doing. Familes are the building blocks of society. Families need to stick together. When we not mess with our design, things run more smoothly.
I was gifted with a 'free panties and half off a bra if you want it' gift card from Victoria's secret. Decided I needed panties too and that this is my perfect opportunity to buy a real bra. expired two days before :( plus when I heard that they have to be hand washed and cost $40+ I decided Walmart bras will have to work. Hannah and I tried on 6 bras between the two of us. She ended up with one and I grabbed one I thought would work. It was healing but VERY tough. and a good mommy/ big daughter bonding time.
The end of an era. my identity is wrapped up with a cute little accessory that nurses and talks funny. Now I have to figure out who I am and I'm not enjoying it.
