屋主前言:近日積極在部屋及其它博客發言的doraemonserv(18歲的男生)寄來〈動畫的技術分析大綱〉一文,我看了很久仍是似懂 非懂,不過作者的雄心與熱誠是無容置疑的,我登出此文以作鼓勵。文章多處經大幅文字編輯及删改,所花時間多於自己寫文。作者指出一般漫畫評論重「基本分 析」而缺乏「技術分析」,他給我們介紹及定義他所理解的「技術分析」是什麼。欲看未編輯的原文,日後請登doraemonserv的blog。

動畫的技術分析大綱 撰文: doraemonserv

小弟做了岡田派御宅族轉眼已8年了。最近一年 Blog 潮興起,而自己亦起了 3 個 xanga,都不是寫個人情感,而是希望寫真正具有參考價值的 Blog。近來,鑑於通識教育(liberal art education)的倡行,為配合我的和新世代御宅精神 (otaku-ism)的教育理想,我開始把我的想法逐一整理成自己的一套動畫理論。《動畫的技術分析》是我的動畫理論的一環,若讀者發現任何不足之處, 望請多多指正和包涵!(注意﹕小弟為2005中學會考中文科作文攞 UNCL 的失意者,而且中文打字速度奇慢,因此所有對讀者的回覆盡可能以英文表示。不便之處,敬請原諒!)

技術分析的精神

技術分析 (Technical Analysis) 和 基本分析 (Fundamental Analysis) 等名詞在金融學中十分常見。在動畫學中,這兩名詞會被借用來解析動畫的各項符號(symbol)。基本分析文本(text)在 ACG Blog 中十分常見,主要是動畫情節(plot/storyline)、音樂、以至於附屬產物 (accessories) 的分析和反思﹔至於以技巧(techniques, montages)和技術(technology)的技術分析文本則較為少見。例如,許多讀者會對動畫作出一般取向的讀後感(lyrics) ,而非採用較為特殊/專業取向(例如以社會學角度中的階層化理論去研究動漫人物的取態)的分析文本(discourses, reports, etc.)。後者岡田派御宅味道較重,但對於亞太研究中心或動漫畫公司市場及文化部主管等等來說,卻是十分重要的資本。

基本分析文本的用途大多是純粹分享以達至社文功能等,技術分析文本卻不然,它較為學術化,而最主要的目的在於抽取和解析各類閱讀媒介中,情感背後的意識形態/觀念形態。這關乎到所有御宅族共有的研究精神和創造力。

技術分析的四大範疇如下:(1) 分類 (2) 樣本分析 (3) 流程分析 (4) 意識形態/觀念形態運用

以上範疇,不只是動畫,而放諸四海而皆準,是為社會研究 (social research)中文本分析(textual analysis)的一個值得採用的理論架構 (theoretical framework)。它有用的地方在於以知識和資訊傳遞及探索為主,在教學上亦能兼容並蓄,包裝一已觀感之餘亦不失其客觀性。

分類 (Classification by genres)

按照 Alexa 1000 大受歡迎網站 http://bestanime.com/ 的分類法,動畫可分為以下類別﹕(1) 3D Animation (2) Action (3) Adult (4) Adventure (5) Biography (6) Children's (7) Clay Animation (8) Comedy (9) Crime (10) Drama (11) Fantasy (12) Film noir (13) Girl's (14) Historical (15) Horror (16) Magical (17) Maid (18) Mechanical (Martial) (19) Musical (20) Mystery (21) Racing (22) Rescue (23) Robot (24) Romance (25) School SF (26) Sports(27) Thriller (28)War

這種分類不外乎以下列要點作為考慮﹕(1) 介面 (2) 受眾 (3) 主題 (4) 主角類別。對於我來說,有一更概括的二分法值得大家參考﹕(1) 一般性(general), (2) 分化性(differentiated) 一般動性動畫能迎合男女老少,而分化性動畫需要讀者對特定主題(例如魔女 – majo)的理解才能完整地解讀),否則會形成價值分歧。

另外,根據 helloluke 的流行動畫教學法網站 (其網站已經關閉) ,動畫內容性質可分為﹕(1) 科幻動畫 (2) 攪笑動畫 (3) 少女動畫 (4) 偵探動畫 (5) 動物動畫 (6) 運動動畫 (7) 遊戲動畫 (8) 歷險動畫 (9) 機械動畫 。不過我覺得這種分類描述不免有偏見,例如作者沒有提及忍者亂太郎兼包江戶川 文化。

樣本分析 (Sample Analysis)

流程分析

動畫製作流程包含許多元素,而最常見的是聲優(C.V.)。例如, feenlance C.V. 大育谷江曾經為小魔女 Doremi 的小花 (hana) 和寵物小精靈的比卡超 (pikachu) 配音。另外,配樂員亦是一幕後主打﹕例如,太田美知彥曾經創作Toei Animation 的數碼暴龍 04 (Digimon Frontier) 開片曲 Fire!! 和TV-Tokyo的音樂小彗星 Interim Song 星に願いを。還有的是,音樂小彗星的創作班底(cast)曾利用在同人誌市場中流行的貴價 OpenType字體,DFKinBun-W3 (華康金文體, by Dynalab Co. Ltd.)。這反映了動畫製作成本的高昂。

要提的是,以下為動畫播放流程:

TVB經常為本地廣告收益把3,5,8,9刪掉,使動畫失去原味 (尤其是日式麵包王的小知識部分)。

原來大家也是 MySinaBlog 的,我也加入你的連結了。其實世界上大多是等價交換,中文拿 U 的「代價」就是英文取了 D ,不是很公平嗎?某位姓馮的更慘,中文 A 英文 U ,結果折墮到今日。中文好是沒飯吃的,英文好才有工作找……(下略三千字)

首先是動畫分類,某程度而言是不必太仔細的,反正現在也多了很多甚麼乙女系、腐女系……亂七八糟的。簡單地還是像小說分類地劃分就可以。而流程分析及意識形態,因為是英文白痴,所以全看不明……如果有少量中文解釋會更好。

關於分類部份, 把自己的分類法放到後面會比較方便以後對該部份作結論. 而由於引用了兩套分類方式, 相信有必要把兩種分類法進行最低限度的分析與比較, 應該要注意如此份類的意義在哪裏.

樣本分析部份也許偏離了本來目的. 由於目的是讓讀者了解作技術性分析的方法, 所以應該舉的例是不同的文章而不是不同的作品. 由於分析技術本身是中立的, 所以說明分析技術的時候也得把立場獨立於例文的論點之外. 另外, 為同一部作品準備多於一篇不同的文章會比較有效果, 以表現不同方式進行樣本分析會有不同結果. 建議不要只用自己的文章, 也找找看其他人的文章來引用會比較好做.

流程分析部份, 應該注意其英文全名為Flow analysis of concepts and ideas, 所以焦點應該在於製作方面的意念如何表現, 以及經過怎樣的過程變成這樣的表現. 像聲優本身嚴格來說並不是動畫作品的一部份, 只有他們的聲音才是, 所以只是影響流程的一個因素, 當中涉及的商業活動不能當成文章主體來寫.

至於意識形態部份, 似乎跟分類部份混淆了. 要如何分析作品的意識形態才是應該注意的地方.

至於例文中的論法由於跟大綱本身無關不予置評......

As Alf pointed out, I wanna supplement several points:

1. The genre descriptor by helloluke is deleted in this tailor-made article, but is retained in the original document. The comparision is given here:

a. Helloluke's classification system lack specificity and the standard of reference is quite wanton, while BestAnime's classification system lack descriptors and examples, making the whole system fuzzy.

b. Helloluke's classification lack polythematic packages while BestAnime's classification are far-flunged.

There are vast amount of anime/comic Technical (rare) /Fundermental analysis in http://cabeat.com Interested reader may have crirical analysis on these items.

Flow analysis of concepts and ideas is actually a component of "Doremotional/Ideological Applications" and "Issues on Animes", since it is a form of dor-emotional flow, the related article of which will be announced later. 16 different concepts and ideas are introduced as of to-and-from relationships. The remaning two form of flow: production flow and directional flow, is only meagrely introduced. Actually it has severl theorems to desribe these two flows:

a. Forward doremotion theorem

This means that an direction flow is progressible and extensible. For example, the introduction part of FullMetal Alchemist, which lasts for at most 2 minutes, is not only the preview of the whole eposide, it is actually the component of the episode continuation

b. Backward doremotional theorem

This means that an directional flow is reducible/regressible/contractable. For example, the introduction prt of Ojamajo Doremi, which lasts for 20-30 seconds, serves as a brief summary of the whole plot.

c. Hentaikonicity flow theorem

This law state that any ideology/doremotion is progressible and its increments is NOT negative as time flows by. This is because the doremotional products (i.e. hentaicapacity) allocating for different sets of hentaicity (perference changes) and the ideological input inceases as the microstate (entroppy) of objects is increased by time. As some doremotion depreciate and become less alluring by itself, several hentaicity is sait to be reducible by inputing more ideological input by the doremotional flow.

Sample analysis aims at demonstate the methodology and overview of the classification of animes, the extraction of doremotions of the technical anaiysis texts is called critical (point) analysis or integrated analysis, which will be discussed in my later-announced articles. CVs, strictly speaking, is the key component of not only anime production, but also the survival of the whole anime market and the anime system if we put audience markets into account. Some CVs will becomes a idol/star (eg:堀江由衣) and interact with various broadcasting system such as movie as well.


Strictly speaking, any flow concepts such as demand and supply can fall into the omnipresent framework of flow analysis. Examples of flow analysis in micro economics includes indifference curve analysis on the marginal utlilty and consumer surplus.

How to distinguish technical writing and fundermental writing?

Fundermental writing is a part of technical writing only if it is objective. For objective item, he/she is parsing a doremotion/plot, not philosophical lyrics of scenic points. For subjective item, it is wholly fundermental since it defy the basic need of a technical wrting - a academic research article.

Here I wanna discuss which type of practical writing in CL&C is regarded as technical writing.

1. Work/Survey Report

It itself is a technical information, it must be converted to technical writing article by simlple integration in order to fully illustrate its expositotry functions.

2. Newspaper articles

It itself is a technical information, it must be converted to technical writing article by forward critical analysis, i.e. to extract its doremotion.

3. Commentaries

It itself is a form of fundermental anaylsis if the writer not only focus on the comments on technical aspects of an object (say anime). Generally, only those who write on techniques and technical aspects of an object wil be treated as technical writing

4. Letters

It is a form of fundermental anaylsis if it is for personal use. It is a form of technical analysis iff it is packaged as report.

5. Proposal

It is a form of technical analysis since technical knowledges has been extracted from the given technical information

6. Speech

It is a form of technical analysis iff it is servers as an introduction/exposition

7. Minutes

IT is a form of technical knowledge, it must be converted to technical writing article by backward critical analysis, i.e. to summarize its doremotion.

8. Introduction

IT is a form of textbook writing, which suit technical analysis BEST.

1. Public critism 2. Japanese Police Policy 3. Psychological Analysis 4. Moe Otakus and Okadaian otakus

Anyway, any associates and accessorites (doremotional flows)of the doremotions of the object you studies can be treated as doremotional application , EXCEPT those included flow concepts. media flow and directional flow.

As to the topics should be included in sample analysis, here is some examples:

1. Analysis of the main characters 2. The real scenes 3. Acoustic Applications (eg: Karaoke and BGM) 4. The profile of the author and CAST 5. The Anime company data 6. Advertisement tactics 7. Cutural interactions (eg: tourism) 8. CVs' Profiles 9. Doujin activities related to the anime

Generally, if the content is broad enough, it should be regarded as doremotional flow and thus doremotional applications.

I really appreciate your effort. But with my utmost respect, I recommend you to read introductions on critical theories and about the uses of jargons, their meaning and such. For example, Ideology. Because this penetrate all levels of consciousness or such (and, we all know about it already long ago!), I believe categorizing the paradigms will be a good start, but further reading in it's discourses and the relationship between media, politics and such would be even better.

And I doubt if it's my problem or you actually made some mistake in grammar and spelling?

先聲明本人對岡田派otaku知之甚少,不知你關於基本分析和技術分析的定義是否是公認的説法。根據我對文學等其他藝術理論以及金融的了解,我認爲意識形態和觀念形態的分析仍然屬於基本分析範疇,只不過比起一般動漫愛好者的分析更加嚴謹更加專業而已。

    在金融理論當中, 基本分析是對宏觀環境的分析,技術分析則是針對金融數據的特徵作純粹的數學處理,屬於微觀分析。文學理論當中也有類似的劃分,運用社會學、心理學、人類文化學等文學之外的方法研究文學作品的分析方法都屬於宏觀的基本分析,技術分析則是單純的研究文學語言本身,專門研究技術分析的理論後來逐漸形成了一門獨立的學科——文學語言學。同樣,電影有電影語言學,音樂也有旋律學。這種微觀的技術分析本質上更貼近藝術作品本身。因爲即使是有著完全相同的文化理念的藝術家,他們創作的作品可能也是完全不同的,基本分析無法解釋這一點,只有分析作品本身的結構、語言及其他表達方式才能達到完整的認識。另一方面,越是大師級的藝術家越關注語言本身,社會文化層面的内涵反而淪爲附庸(像押井守就非常關注肢體語言),基本分析根本無法觸及大師們的靈魂。
動漫作爲誕生相對較晚的藝術類型,並不是獨立于其他藝術之外的,它也有自己獨特的影像語言(例如通過減幀來加強畫面的速度和力度)。同樣它的分析方法也應與其他藝術理論分析接軌,所以把意識形態分析歸為技術分析,我認爲有些不妥。

You have raised a good point. I have discoused the principle of technical analysis in my school, and many are puzzled as to whether flow analysis and 意識形態運用(doremotional applications)(not just 意識形態分析)should be regarded as technical analysis or fundermental analysis. The answer is technical analysis.

Flow analysis consists of 3 parts of analysis on:

1. Production Flow This is the analysis of the elements of the product-formation with respect to time 2. Direction Flow This is the analysis of the elements of the product-formation with respect to time 3. Doremotional Flow This is the analysis of flow concepts. In this regard, those who use already-exist flow concepts, such as demand and supply, is regarded as fundermental anaylsis, which is put into doremotional application. THose who use entirely new/self-made flow concepts , such as the definition of doremotion, should be regarded as technical analysis. Simple applications can be put into doremotional application, but more in-depth discouses of the new theory should be further put into doremotional analysis (意識形態分析).

That is, doremotional application in technical anaiysis is used to embrace fundermental analysis as its subset, while flow analysis aims at building thoretical frameworks of any entirely new flow concepts.

首先要說,文中提及的一般性和分化性的簡單易行的區分我是贊同的,不但有市場的實踐意義(不要迷失在過多的分類中),更能強調出前者是一種是符號,后者一種已經是“符號的符號”的特性(第一層的所指成為了新的能指,尤其在otaku文化中)。

然而文章整體感覺讓人覺得某種意義上是為了分類而分類。 固然對各個類型的分析都是很重要的,無論是從什麼角度來區分的類型,只要能把該類型的原型與基本結构提取出來,再看其在整個時尚潮流中添入了哪些時代性的 元素,這樣的分析才可能具有真正的效力。 關于流程,個人覺得根据動畫創作的流程來寫或許更有幫助。首先區分該動畫的基本制作方式(傳統手繪的2d?3d建模?3d建模后再2d化?逐格動畫? flash?等等),然后根据分鏡頭,原畫,背景,特效(如光影效果),聲優等等環節逐個分析,像沃爾夫林分析繪畫時的思路一樣,從創作者的角度來看待, 這樣才不會拔高和曲解了實際的創作過程 意思形態的分類意義不大,它必須用在實際作品的分析中才會讓人覺得惊喜

文化差異 (Cultural Discrimination)

 日本動畫的儒家家庭觀和現代化觀念很重。另外,由於大部分日本動畫的創作班底 (cast)為男性,流行音樂的空間思維(spatiality)和寄意(connotation)很重,較國內和美國本動畫只重資訊及教育娛樂(infotainment and edutainment) 有深重的哲理,部分主題(例如手塚治虫和宮崎俊的動畫)更是實驗性和高度分化性,實現了日本人變態(hentai) 的自省極端(extremum)。現行日本動畫無一不帶有御宅族應有的分享式進取心態,與中國人的傾向小道人情和美國人的個人主義成一大對比。
在此,我以太美田知彥的 Fire!! 為例來分析流行音樂的空間思維(spatiality)和寄意(connotation):

授集者風格 (Collectorial Stylistology)

 現今社會,不論是創作班底或受眾,皆要參與授集性系競爭(Collectorial Competition)的社會,甚麼建設也要講資源 (resources)。那麼,用甚麼來建設資源?

1. 同人化 (Doujinization) 同人參與,利用人際關係和外界效應 (externalities)的偏私獲得創作靈感是誰也識做。這種做法有時稱為跟風(following-suit)和抄襲 (copycatting)。現行許多高達動畫跟EVA 女主角的人格設定就是一例。同人化引致公式化 (formulatic) 的創作,使另向性(Alternativity)變得極限化。 2. 自主化 (Out-standing) 盡情顯露自我風格、我行我素地創作是突圍而出的一好方法,唯一定要原創才行。橫山光輝不顧同行反對,跟足中國三國歷史編製三國志漫畫正是一例。 3. 無里頭 (kuso and wanton association) 學三八般把任何事情關聯起來,作出任意行為為無里頭作為是也。這除了搞笑外還能 Brainstorming ,不過無里頭太多則淪為幼稚。 Digi Charat 因無里頭式惡搞而被喻為最爛的萌動畫! 4. 研究及開發 (Research and Development) 這是發展的硬道理,人人皆要做。

意識型態/觀念型態產物(Doremotional Products)

 這裡牽涉純粹數學的微積分(Calculus)概念,是為社會學(sociology)一大分支——社會計量學 (sociometry)的運用。

假設意識型態/觀念型態是可數的,而且是遞增的時間函數(monotonic increasing function of time),它的定積分(Definite Integral as the limit of Riemann Sum)就是意識型態/觀念型態產物。它有公有(public)和私有(private, i.e. virtric)之分。由於知識的傳遞和繼承,後期出生的人的意識型態/觀念型態產物——即使年紀尚少,旨可以比前期出生的人的為大。這就是增長定理的推 論 (corollary):後期出生的人意識型態/觀念型態上影響前期出生的人,且具較大內化(internalization)和社化 (socialization)維度。即是說後期出生的人繼承著前期出生的人的人格。例如:百變小櫻中 (Card Captor Sakura)的小櫻的哥哥有偏私(partial) 的性格,而小櫻是常態(common)的,則小櫻必定有偏性剩餘 (partial surplus)。假如小櫻的常態人格有任何遞增 (increment) ,則小櫻的哥哥的偏私人格必會變異。也就是說,小櫻的哥哥的人格可導性 (differentiability)隨著與其年輕的人的互動而增加。 這分析同樣適用於現實。由於女性較男性較內化和社化,一個小男孩假女與多名MK三八們一起甚久,這個小男孩一定會被三八同化(assimilated) ,成為御宅族的天敵——常態師奶男!(見【漫動作】我是「電車男」嗎?)

方向流程定理 (Directional Flow Theorems)

以下有四個新的定理來描述動畫播放流程的特色: 1. 前向意識型態/觀念型態定理(Forward Doremotion Theorem) 這表示一套動畫的意識型態/觀念型態是可序遞的 (progressible) 和可延(extensible)的。例如在鋼之鍊金術師(Fullmetal Alchemist)中的開頭曲前的開場描述(introduction part)(長達兩分鐘)中,所有的 Preview 實際上是情節(episode plot)的發展(development),讀者沒有這部分很難了解下文。只要這定理在某動畫中存在,這表示了動畫的意識型態/觀念型態產物頗大。 2. 後向意識型態/觀念型態定理(Backward Doremotion Theorem) 這表示一套動畫的意識型態/觀念型態是可迴遞的 (regressible)和可除(reducible)的。例如在小魔女 Doremi(Ojamajo Doremi)中的開頭曲前的開場描述(introduction part)(長達二十秒)中,所有的 Preview 實際上是情節(episode plot)的概結(summary) ,讀者可以不須理會。只要這定理某動畫中存在,這表示了該動畫重包裝而輕內涵。 3. 增長定理(Growth Theorem) 這表示一套動畫的意識型態/觀念型態產物在有新意識型態/觀念型態的輸入下,不論其吸引力是否減弱,其意識型態/觀念型態產物一定會直向和橫向上升。這意 味著如果一套動畫有多於一輯 (serial/season)的話(例如 Keroro 軍曹、小魔女 Doremi等),其多樣性會上升和增值。 4. 橫向意識型態/觀念型態定理(Lateral Doremotion Theorem) 這表示一套動畫的播放流程有分支。例如,寵物小精靈的大木博士講座和日式麵包王的小知識部分為其動畫增值。

意識型態/觀念型態流簡界 (Doremotional Flow)

 純意識型態流可稱為 ideological flow 或意識流 (flow of conscious),觀念型態流一一包括流程概念在內一一多以 Doremotional Flow 區別。它是隨著時間而改變的。與意識型態/觀念型態流相對的叫固定的原概念(Stock concepts),例如公理 (axioms)。
著名作家李怡曾經在經濟日報的副刊登出了「知識貴族面臨挑戰」 一文,指出曾經當過美國前副總統戈爾的丹尼爾‧平克(Daniel H. Pink)出了一本書叫「全新思維(A Whole New Mind – Moving From the Information Age to the Conceptual Age)」,謂隨著科技與全球化的發展,全世界開始進入了一個觀念創新的時代。這對於雄心壯志的岡田派御宅族是很有利的,因為他們的思想體系可以以流程分析弘揚出去,促進大同文化交流,減少歧視。各種各類的產品皆講求美觀、具藝術意味和有時代式特殊設計。對於勇於創新的岡田派御宅族,這又是很有利的因為他們的社會地位逐漸受到重視。因此,本人的動畫學和技術分析等將成為未來御宅族成名的踏腳石,以拋磚引玉。

技術分析(Technical Analysis) 的流程分析 (Flow analysis) 和意識型態/觀念型態運用 (Doremotional Application) 是在動畫評論中是十分罕見的,而且兩者難度甚高。一般來說,除非一個人有足夠的 IQ 和信心去自創論述系統 (例如 Bill Gate 的 Programming Solution Pattern),否則很難完成流程分析中的最後一項元素: 1. 產物流程 (Production Flow) 2. 方向流程 (Direction Flow) 3. 意識型態/觀念型態流程 (Doremotional Flow) 相比之下,意識型態/觀念型態運用是意識型態/觀念型態流程的運用,比最難的流程分析相對較易。在意識型態/觀念型態流程中,任何流程概念 (Flow concepts),例如經濟學中的供給概念 (Demand and Supply)皆一一加以論述。本文將採用我國哲學家殷海光類似人生意義金字塔的模組化論述 (modeling) 一一闡述情感背後的意識型態/觀念型態(Doremotion)的本質。

一個岡田派御宅族成員如何進階地研究動畫﹖自創一套理論似乎是一可行的方法,使他(們)成為 Advanced Generation (Pokemon 經常提倡這 idea) 。 上回在動畫的技術分析一文講到動畫的意識型態/觀念型態運用之十六大理論範疇,看得大家一頭霧水,真是不好意思。廣義來說,意識型態/觀念型態運用是可以以以下模型 (model) 來表示。

Doremotional Application Flow Model:

Reality ==(source)==> Anime Anime ==(impact)==> Reality

 動畫是一種創作者的媒介(medium/media),與現實中的受眾(audience)有著從去 (to-and-from)動態的互動關係 (dynamic and interactive relationship)。動畫的意識型態/觀念型態在動畫與現實兩種媒介中實現了雙向的反饋機制 (feedback mechanism)。注意的是,reality 是以整個動畫體系 (anime system) 而言。以下就著動畫學常見典型的意識型態/觀念型態範疇作探究式的論述。

X-alcites

(以下自創理論為觀察動畫經濟學中的 preference 和 utility的心得)

  “-al” 指為「演化」,而在舊式字典中,”cite”指「仰慕的對象」。 顧名思義,X-alcites  指以  “-al”  為形容詞演變的用詞法,是一個物件喜好接受程度指標。  X-alcites  目前有3種: Localcite (Localcity), Nationalcite(Nationalcity)和 Globalcite(Globalcity)。它們的定義已經在動畫的技術分析大綱  一文的 link 中提及。許多動畫皆有這類元素,為它們增值。
任何帶有本土色彩(locality)和全球本地化(glocalization)的動畫皆有 localcites 作為招徠。例如:音樂小彗星採用原作(1963設定關東——鐮倉 (Kaamkura)—— classic 場景和、流星公主 (meteo-san)的 lolita look 和原作者橫山光輝與叮噹作者的師兄關係暗指 (allusion) (見 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmic_Baton_Girl_Comet-san 的描述) ,麥兜故事採用本港舊市區的風貌,小魔女Doremi 採用愛子(Aiko)的大板口音等等。

任何滲透國家色彩的動畫皆有 nationalcites。例如.,超人動畫經常把怪獸打鬥場地設定為東京,故有「大日本主義」的「美稱」;國產藍貓/黑貓警長經常宣揚國產科學知識; 各日本動畫,包括叮噹、小魔女Doremi、Keroro軍曹和寵物小精靈等,皆為夏祭(ondu) 製作 Ending Theme 。

 任何滲透全球化(globalization) 思想的動畫皆有 globalcites. 例如:高達動畫經常以地球作為作戰藍本;小魔女Doremi的桃子 (momoko) 提倡世界和平;音樂小彗星有提及 McDonload 的「笑容免費供應」口號。 

Reduction of Hentaicity (#H)

(以下自創理論為觀察微觀動畫中個人取向的心得)

先為 hentaicity (變相度)一詞作界說:它又是一個物件喜好接受程度指標 (extent of preference change toward an object)。它是隨著時間而遞減(diminish),因此它是可迴遞的(reducible/regressible)。在一個意識產物 (ideological product)的容度(capacity)不變台它是與相關意識型態/觀念型態成反比關係。簡單來說,一個物件(例如萌女主角)的吸引度愈大,所需的意 識則愈少(例如﹕食色性也),除非該物件意義深遠(例如 lolita 的來源)。

變相度遞減定律(The law of diminishing hentaicity)暗示了把異相增加可提高一件物件的價值。例如﹕日版音樂小彗星吸引人或突出的地方不外乎雙關語(pun) 的運用﹕英文 comet-san 在日本的拼音是 komettosan,與「不幸的少女」同義——對於御宅族而言,這樣子的知識可為他們增值。

在日劇女王的教室,亞久津老師曾經說個學習要有好奇心和研究精神。相信這句觸動了所有御宅族的心聲。(我曾經在 http://en.wikipedia.com/wiki/otaku 一文開設 otakuism 一欄來說明這點,奈何被外國排他性的 wotaku 以 scandalism 為名 – protectionism 為實 - 刪除之!)而我已經配合好我的「偉論」,為各御宅族們炮製好一個 anime syllabus﹕ http://doraemonserv.mysinablog.com/index.php?op=ViewArticle&articleId=382822 這大綱主要以技術分析(technical analysis) 和臨界點分析思維(critical analysis)取代現有但被中國人情感地(emotive)濫用的批判性思考 (critical thinking, 來自馬克思的 Critical Theory),因為許多對動畫知識無知的權威人土 (pundits)——尤其是把同性戀者和御宅族定性為不正常的研究對象的心理學家,諸如雙失青年(Hikikomori)以至於思覺失調(E.A.S.Y.)等 ——往往作出肆意 (wanton)批評,並美其名為批判性思考。「享負盛名」的中國語文及文化科在1997 年實用文一卷中就國內動畫趨勢要求考生作出評論,加劇了濫用批判性思考的惡相(ojogological)現象,可見犬儒(新儒家的家產官僚,包括考評局)主義害人不淺。
又因本港偽善的 TVB 對兒歌的宣傳政策氾濫,令各家長、教師等視動畫為純粹兒童娛樂,忽視了其背後的情感和技術價值。這形成了一套「動畫=幼稚」的師奶式刻板思維(stereotype),於是各類缺乏自省精神(introspect)的「常人」(common people),例如電車男中的愛瑪氏,就可以名正言順地歧視御宅族了——這就是動畫教學不能成為正規通識教育(liberal art education)的一重大原因。新一代御宅族實有一套新思維、消滅這因女權主義 (feminism) 而衍生的刻板思維之必要。

授集伺服理論 (The Theory of Collection Servers)

 授集伺服理論的重心是保留和管理(reservative management) 意識型態/觀念型態。一套動畫的版權頂多五十年,而動畫網站隨時不保,假如動畫出土後五十年才來列為文化遺產,屆時大部份受眾都老死了,相關的意識型態/觀念型態因而失傳。因此,此理論為一理想,希望突破版權的限制而成功保留和管理萬變的集體回億。
一個授集伺服器固然要有 robot 去採納官方和同人資料、音樂、影片、附屬物 (例如 Screensaver)、圖片、網站資料和其分析文本(文獻)。接著,它要設終端機 (indexing service)供文化愛好者參考。

1.科幻動畫 科幻動畫是一些沒有科學根據,虛構一些能力(例如魔法、超能力)或生物(例如精靈、外星人)出來作題材的動畫。故事的內容比較特別和創新,使人有種滿足的 感覺。「多啦A夢」(舊名為叮噹),是一部科幻動畫,因為內容涉及虛構的科技發明,在現實中是沒有可能發生。雖然科幻的創作是脫離現實,但卻帶來人們無限 的夢想,將來也有可能實現。

2.攪笑動畫 雖然很多動畫都有攪笑的成份,但有一些動畫會是以攪笑為題材,目的為娛樂觀眾,沒有帶來任何信息。例如「我的ET同學」、「忍者亂太郎」等。

4.偵探動畫 偵探動畫雖然較少,但很深受歡迎。例如「名偵探柯南」、「金田一少年事件簿」等。偵探動畫著重懸疑的情節,讓觀眾去思考和探索事情的結果。


5.動物動畫 動物動畫是以動畫為角色,把動物人格化,使動物像人可以說話、做事和思考。最近期的動物動畫是「哈姆太郎」,使倉鼠變成了「高智慧」生物,懂得思考,解決困難。動物動畫的主要特色是把動物畫得可愛化和人格化,使小朋友容易接受和愛戴。

6.運動動畫 取材自運動的動畫為數有不少,例如有「足球少將」(踢足球)、「網球王子」(打網球)、「男兒當入樽」(打籃球)等。這些動畫深受男性的觀眾歡迎,對提高參與運動的興趣有不少幫助。

7. 遊戲動畫 遊戲動畫是以小朋友喜愛的玩物作題材,往往有很濃厚商業的味道,例如有「遊戲王」(玩遊戲咭)、「激鬥戰車」(玩激鬥戰車)、「爆旋陀螺」(玩陀螺)。遊 戲動畫往往對小朋友帶來很大的影響,這些影響通常會是負面的,例如帶玩具上學、花錢買玩具等。不過若這些玩具能在適當時候玩,亦可促進小朋友的思考和人際 間交往。如果小朋友能學會動畫背後的做人精神,對心身發展亦有幫助。

8.歷險動畫 歷險動畫的內容主要是一些冒險故事為主,主角會朝著一個目的而前進,遇到不同特別的經歷。歷險動畫往往帶有一些科幻成份,使內容更有趣味性和刺激性。例如 有「全職獵人」、「冒險少年」、「光明勇士」等。歷險動畫通常會表達一種努力奮鬥、不屈不拗的精神。而且冒險旅程千奇百異,很令觀眾緊張萬分。

9.機械動畫 機械動畫深受男性觀眾愛戴,因為機械人通常涉及打鬥場面,科技又高超。近期的機械動畫有「小飛俠‧阿童木」、「數碼傳動戰士」和「高達」等。機械動畫的主 要特色是涉及高科技的背景,描述人類未來的世界,創造機械人來戰鬥和為人服務。其實機械動畫不只是打打殺殺,內容都可以很富人情味,就以很出名的小飛俠為 例,小飛俠擁有人的心靈,為人與機械創造溝通橋樑。

 不過,這種分類描述不免有偏見,例如作者沒有提及忍者亂太郎兼包江戶川 (edo)文化。

Ben Ng's prejudice starts from the comments on doraemonserv2's article by mail: Lack theme, detail and analysis, and contains many self-made jargon making reading difficult. In fact, doraemonserv2's article is pluralistic and multifarious. This hurts doraemonserv2's ego. After then, Ben Ng use the same reason to reject doraemonserv2's further article subscription. Doraemonserv2 then send a petition letter for re-censorship, and the sentence "That's your sole loss, not mine." galvanized Ben Ng, so he ban doraemonserv from his blog. Since then their relationships becomes unfavourable. Since then, the pluralisitc academic raitonal discussion enviornment has been denatured. Ben Ng is now running a stoopping road to infotainment, and the audience of his blog is on the drop as some other scholars of cultural studies and sociology realize that Ben Ng is a hypocrite.

Usually, Ben Ng often ignores Doraemonserv2's important questions using the excuse of busy work. In fact, he is at leisure. Doraemonserv2 felt that he is not respected so he started to criticize Ben Ng in his own blog. Furthermore, Ben Ng always reject Doraemonserv2's suggestion as to the setting up of forum and the mechanism of article subscription for more freelance academic discussion. This shows that conservative Ben Ng is NOT a really avid scholars which Doraemonserv respects. So their rivalry surges.

Audiostatic Induction: A Case Study of Digimon Frontier

 

What ideas can one, including otakaian otakus, induce after reading a anime song with viusal element supported? And, what useful information can be obtained after so?

 

Let's examine the lyrics with the musical instrument played together with the relevant Opening Theme clip shown. After one have doing so one will know how the flow of anime matches the video and audio in a appropriate way.

 

Take the Digimon Frontier (2002) as an example; the lyric of its opening theme song is as follows:

Before the artist starts singing, one would hear a musical instrument, electric guitars generating the circular wavefront of fire, with a sigh "akaa~~~~~~~" as a conscience of it. 



        The photo above is a static clip from the dynamic oscillation of the earth, meaning the turbulence of peace to be fixed. 



        The photo above is the routine logo which does nothing with the song.

        As the lyric starts, a series of drum sounds starts as a part of the superimposing melodies. The graphical connotation to this is the train. Similar techniques have been found in TV-Tokyo's previous Anime production, Cosmic Baton girl comet-san (2001). In its TVBGM collection CD 1, the first track "
星のトレイン" responsible for such a acoustic effect can be found.

The time elapsed so far is 1 minute 30 second, which suits the general flow of a 24-minute Anime TV Programme (Advertisements usually take 6 minutes in a half hour)



The remaining part of the song does not belong to the Digimon Frontier opening theme. The melody is repeated. For the transition part the connotation of time "(とき)は流(なが)れてくんだろう?" functions with the music of clappers and drums.

Note that the original Opening Theme (video) contains many Digimon characters (with differentiated functions) which are less relevant to the theme of the song (audio). This suggests that anime songs are separable from the general episode flow of anime. Therefore it is useful to explain why many otakaian otakus stress on the music (as a technical aspect) rather than the storyline (as a scenic aspect) in the study of anime. This further helps explain why many non-moe otakus read anime that apparently girl-targeted anime such as Ojamajo Doremi (Toei Animation Ltd.)) and Cosmic Baton Girl Comet-san (TV-Tokyo Ltd.) - the melody of the song, which can be separable from the visual element, draw their attention, henceforth intriguing their interest in exploring the themes of the anime. Hence, one can derive a fact: the production cast of apparently girl-targeted anime and marketing cast put much emphasis on quality (and quantity, in case for Toei Animation Ltd.) of songs for diversification of interests. Certain freelance song composers, like Ootayoshi Tomohiko (太田美知彦), also have play a role in transferring technical support on music. The evidence is that Ootayoshi Tomohiko has also composed a song called Milky Way, for the anime Cosmic Baton girl comet-san again.

 

Ootayoshi Tomohiko also help TVB compose a Hong Kong version of Fire!!, but both the quality and duration of the song is not as good as the original one.=
