So Long, Farewell

I've finally jumped ship and am moving to a new blog.

It has been a pretty interesting 986 days with Xanga, and it is with regret that I leave this blog service provider.
Who knows, though, maybe if they improve their photo hosting and customisability and other little niggly things, maybe I'd come back.

Till then, my blog has been moved.

Here

New layout, new colour scheme, same person.

By the way, please do visit wussytoots.blogspot.com or click HERE and see what they have to offer. Reasonably Priced, Fashionable Clothes, for Girls.

Sometimes it makes me wonder.. Should I get that v-neck halter that I've been eyeing for myself? ;)

Migration!

I'm currently in the phase of customizing a different blog, with better photo hosting capabilities.
Guess I'll migrate soon.

Will post the link once everything is done.
And Kinz, shaddup

;)

A Hectic Few Days, An Outing, and A Farewell

Hectic!

IMG_3774resized

My parents left for a 5 day trip to Bangkok last Wednesday.
Left my sister and I alone to take care of the house, cats, and get on with life.
So it's been pretty tiring on me, since I have my college schedule to follow.
Add to that
  • the waking up at 7 to send my sister to school
  • our own food! But that's not really hard
  • making sure the cats have enough food, water and whatever else they might need
  • going to classes at 8 am
  • ending classes pretty late
  • sleeping late finishing up work, projects and assignments
  • dealing with a clogged up toilet
So yeah, I really don't like life like this.
Maybe if I was on holiday or something, then I wouldn't mind so much.
But fuhhh. College + everything else. Bleh.

Anyway my parents are scheduled to come back tomorrow, around 2 p.m. or so.

I . Will . Survive!

Hahahaha!
Specially when she's around.
Wouldn't have to worry bout clogged toilets anymore.

A Photographic Outing

On Thursday Patrick and Kinz ajak-ed me to go to KLCC with them.
Wanted to snap some pictures.
I agreed, though a little grudgingly since I didn't want to leave my sister alone at night for too long.
Baik giler kan? Hahaha.

Anyway, we went via LRT there.
Before taking pictures of KLCC, the Twin Towers and whatever else, we went looking for stuff first.
Kinz wanted a filter for his lens adapter, so we looked in several shops, but the prices were like, RM 150 - 200+.

Then we went to a Canon shop and asked a little bout lenses and the battery grip.
Well they were like, RM 300 more than what I would and could get at Sg. Wang.
So yeah.

Then we headed out to the park to check out the scenery.
I had on my 7-2 f4 at that time, and as I was changing my lens, they turned off the fountain.
Damn! So I didn't get fountain shots, but then again you could find them at Kinz and Patrick's Blogs.
I think.

So that night's activities were basically
  • Snapping a few pictures of the towers
  • Helping a tourist by taking their picture
  • Helping another tourist by lending her batteries
  • Going to the other side of the place and taking more pictures
We originally planned to go home at 10.30, but in the end we ended up going back at about 11.30.
But hey, was pretty fun.

Next stop, Butterfly / Bird Park!

Mesti . Pergi . Tengok . Burung!
Hahahaha

* PS: Pics still look blur. Damn xanga. I'd have linked photobucket hosted pics, but then they'd look distorted.
So yeah, Photobucket has them pics, links through my frenster.

* PSS: You can click the pics to see a better version.

Farewell

Mr. Chong Kah Yang had a goodbye party yesterday.
Been a hell of a long time since I last saw him.
Headed over to his house at about 7.45, Kinz being kind enough to volunteer to fetch me.
Saw loads of faces that I've not seen in like, half a century.

Caught up, chatted, pictures, and most importantly.
Played the xBox 360! Hahahahah!
Fuh gila cool.
But a little weird at first.

Photos, well, I don't think I'm putting them up.
I might, but I doubt it.
Tengoklah.

Anyway, here's to
  • Being the prefects that we were.
  • Figuring out the stupid chelsea thing back then.
  • Futsal back in Form 4 through to now.
  • Winning eleven.
  • A great life ahead.
;D

Malaysia Internation Fireworks Competiton

A certain Mr. Patrick asked me if I wanted to go with him to Putrajaya to catch the finals for the MIFC.
Needless to say, I pretty much jumped at the chance.
Was planning to go with my dad, but he said I'd better go with a friend, so that he wouldn't have to drive.

So we went via LRT. Took a train to KL Central, then hooped on the ERL Transit to Putrajaya.
When we got there we took a bus to the PICC and got a pretty good place to take pictures and enjoy the show.

Now this was my first time photographing fireworks, and I didn't get to use my tripod since I was using the s3 on it.
Was doing a new friend a favour by taking the photos with my s3 using his memory card.

So yeah if my shots don't turn out so goo,d it's because they were hand held.
And at shutter speeds of around 1/10 to 2 seconds.
Even IS cannot save them.

Photos

And here are the photos that turned out reasonably well.

Where they fired the fireworks from.

One of the many bridges in Putrajaya

And my best for last.

And that's all for now.

Adios! ;D

Pan-o-rific

Last night I went out to dinner with Kinz at Williams.
Well I didn't eat, but yeah, dinner.
Met up with Terence, Sabrina, Shaun, Wern Loong and Aaron.
Sat there lepak until about 9, i think.

We planned to go somewhere and take photos, but it started to rain.
Pretty heavily, at that. So there we were, thinking, Damn.
Then the rain eased a little, but still continued to drizzle.
We drove around and Kinz suggested taking panning shots.

So we went to the corner of the KFC at SEA Park (?) and camped there.
Slight drizzle, but nothing we couldn't handle, I guess.
Spent quite some time there, taking pictures, comparing, and experimenting.

After that went to apa nama tempat tu to meet Marianne, Weng Fatt and Vincent.
Sat there and drank some weird soursop drink with jelly.
Wasn't too bad.
Stayed there until bout 12, then went home.

When I reached home, we both shot the moon for a bit.

Pan-o-rific Pictures!

So here are the pictures that came out reasonably well from my camera.
By the way, for my pan shots, I targeted those with two wheels.
Haha. I found it interesting to pan a bike, compared to a car.
Actually I found it easier lol.

And my moon shot.

*Only the moon shot is linked to a bigger photo. The rest are not.

:D
