ThursdayWell, it's a new day!! Yay!! Everything is good! Last night was a totally different story though. I know that Psalms 91 works and here's why.
I was in my bathtub taking a hot bath. My friend Lisa gave me some bath salts for my birthday. The aroma was just heavenly!! That means that "I" smell heavenly!! Yay! While soaking in my heavenly aroma, Destiny and Nathan came into my room. Nathan has learned how to climb up onto my bed. It's really high off the floor. His little tot bed is right next to my side of the bed. He climbed up..and before we could get him to sit down...he STOOD up and proceeded to fall off of the top of my bed from a standing position, hitting the guardrail on his tot bed. He cried and cried!! He had a knot on his forehead. We iced it and today - there's just a small red scratch. He's fine. I felt some of my hair turn gray when that happened though. He's FAST as lightning! Anyway, thank God he's alright. Because, I was concerned for a few minutes there...whew.       On to other news... The girls are preparing to go to church camp this next week. They're leaving Sunday and won't be back home until Friday. What will Nathan and I do the whole week long - just us?? I don't know, but, I hope it'll be fun. We'll see what I can come up with. Hopefully we'll take pictures and keep sort of a diary of our weeks' doin's. Tomorrow is the 4th of July!!    We want to grill and go to the fireworks display our church is sponsoring tomorrow night at the park. That will be fun!! Hope Nathan doesn't get scared!! Anyway, hope to get pictures of that as well. What are your great 4th of July plans?? Also, something funny ... another Nathanism. Nathan calls ALL FISHIES - Bubbles!!  We're not sure what happened - but - our little fishie has gone to the great fish bowl in the sky. I'd rather have a dog anyway. Well, last night, we were heating up a pizza in the oven and Destiny started hollering "Fire!"...sure enough. What happened?? The heating element caught on fire and burned itself out. Sounded really scary. There was definitely NOT a heavenly aroma in the kitchen for awhile. It was kinda strange yesterday. We had used the oven to heat up our lunch. After I turned the oven OFF - it stayed on for awhile. So, I guess it was trying to go out then. Fortunately, John was home for this event.  We turned the oven off and the landlord will get us a new heating element. sigh. So today for lunch - we ordered pizza from Dominos!!  It should be here in about 30 minutes. NayNay likes pizza.  Well, this is all I know for now. Hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July!!!
