People say that ABSENCE MAKES THE HEART GROW FONDER. Well guess what folks, it is true. You know how I used to really hate blogging. Like I wouldnt even go to this blog cuz its to darn embarrassing and blogging is such a chore/obligation etc.

But recently, the exhilaration/joy of blogging suddenly, unknowingly and surprisingly washed over me. So indeed, after a century of non-existence in the blogosphere, here is, the latest weblog from a once-defunct blogger:

THESE BEAUTIFUL SEXY GIRLS ARE WONDERFUL PEOPLE. Please continue to practise hard and really give your all for ensemble. (which includes not ponning CCA.) And THANK YOU ALL for me & jong's surprise birthday celebration. Yes Tricia is touched. (Your 10 minutes-before-ensemble-ends running-there-to-get-a-cake-etc-and-back still amazes me. :) ) And not forgetting, thank you all for making me almost lose my voice during each sectional session/ dragging time by means of singing/ pretending not to hear me when I say break is 10 minutes then coming back close to HALF AN HOUR later saying you didn't hear me. YOU GUYS. :D

Founders' Day Dinner:

This is so annoying because I really did rotate the pictures already.

Recently my mom sent me this email comparing pix of  Hollywood celebs with and WITHOUT makeup. And our of the whole bevy of stars, including Eva Longoria, (actually i can't remember the rest), this particular A-list actress freaked me out so bad I almost fell out of my chair. To prevent myself from potentially being sued, I shall be coy about this. This actress happens to be one that everyone thinks is so hot, and starred in this movie, the movie that I was conned into watching not to long ago.. the one that was funny but STILL crap (movies can be waste-of-money amusing, you know?).. yeah she is the one. She looked a million years older than she actually is, with pale, freckled skin and all. It was THAT bad.

I better shut up before karma strikes me. And I realised I'm really bad at covering up identities. Oh well, still, for the sake of not getting sued.

ANYWAY GUESS WHAT. I THINK I HATE BLOGGING AGAIN. I'M SERIOUS. IT'S QUITE IRRITATING ACTUALLY.

Okay. So Deanna sent me this reaaaally adorable bunny and so I wanted to send it back to her.

And I sent a Diamond Ring (yea I am so nice!) and a PERSONAL MESSAGE. and I happily clicked "Send Gift", without realising that I had actually sent it to all my friends, PLUS the PERSONAL MESSAGE!!!!

So when I saw all the ticked names, I was like >>>> (see below)

and if they are friends I am close to or friends from MG, I'm okay with it, but NO.

I am still not over it. So, to those who received it, it's not for you okay!!

The Carrot Cake I baked today

(or more dearly known as "The Blister Cake")

I LOVE CARROT CAKES (the western kind).

Looks dry but it's not. I'm no avid or pro baker though. But it tastes pretty good. Would have been much nicer with the thick cream cheese frosting that usually comes with a carrot cake, but I couldn't find it.

Next up is the wooooooonderful, aaaaaaamazing

Macaroni & Cheese!

I am a cheese fanatic, and this is HEAVEN.

It has Mozarella, Cheddar, and Parmesan cheese, with bacon, onions.. and of course, macaroni.

But I didn't make this. My maid is the cook behind this wonder.

Combined strings camp.

Okay on second thought, the second statement is seriously kind of overrated. J.ong misses her woodblock! HAHAHA. Both of us agree that that place is filled with "ice men" (quoting her). No kidding. And Nat wong and I were picking the top 5 _______ guys. that's terribly mean, I feel so bad right now. really. Apart from the sooooo embarrassing forfeits on the first day, stupid games, all the Randy Jackson-ing by Nat & Becky, and the crazily fast St Paul's Jig (Mgse hardly rehearsed it!), and the ice men, it was not bad actually. And crazily enough, the third stand didn't have the St Paul's scores AT ALL during the concert because my stand took it without realising. Don't know how they did it. Anyway, the night ended really well (NOT referring to the concert itself) but yes, I need to tell YOU GUYS about it!!! crazily unbelievable.

Thank you yinger, meera (thank you and love you for the FLOWERS!!), and deanna for coming! <3 And I missed all you other cello people who couldn't make it for one reason or another.

and for the europe trip there are like a thousand over photos (literally!), so maybe i'll post it another day.

Oh right and I went with family to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Props were amazing. Had pretty good seats. :)
