And all we can be is here, in this moment

TARBET HOUSE CAMP WAS A BLAST!

I thought it was really really awesome, I'm glad all our late nights and hard work and morning meetings paid off so well. I hope that everyone enjoyed it. I spent a lot of time surfing blogs and looking for posts about camp, and overall the response has been very positive <3

I love Tarbet House Comm 09!
Many thanks to Adelle, Tan Yingxin, Peiqi, Nat, Xinyi & Low Yingxin (: My fellow organising members.
I love OT!

And of course,

TARBET TIME TRAVELLERS 2009!

Everything went really really well, and all my fears were unfounded after all (: Station games were super fun to play & watch, especially Raining From A Bucket. Everyone got really really wet haha. Ah I won't elaborate, nothing can give justice to this wonderful camp. LUNCH WASN'T BAD EITHER! The food was pretty good. OT grabbed food & drinks any ol' how when we felt like it, and we ate lunch in the shared classroom while discussing station games and finalising everything. It was great to walk around during station games and watch everyone, and of course, the component of Impressing The Captain was fun hahah. Everyone was really hyped up, sporting, and er, sucked up to me a LOT to get more points. WELL DONE EVERYONE. I think our various "serious" parts were good too, subcomm discussions and committee discussions went really really well.

I think I repeated the same points over and over again for my various "speeches" so that wasn't very good.  But haha I was super nervous, and I hope that I made sense  DID I?! I hope I managed to somehow inspire House Comm, whether a lot or little, is okay.

Oh, reported to school at the bright and early time of 7am, YAWN. Xinyi's car was in front of mine so I helped her move stuff down with her cute trolley. Mr AKL was really nice and gave house comm sweets (:
The intiation part was new, the photo slideshow was impromptu, and we didn't have enough time to do trust fall  But we can do it next time haha yay! I think we chose a pretty good committee this year, everyone is SUPER ENTHU (cheer squad deafened me!), and we must keep this up okay! Of course our aim is to get Champ House & Best Organised House.  Mrs W helped us to buffer time when we made the slideshow. Haha she's so cute, I  Mrs W! I heard she made people poledance and catwalk, and CAPTS catwalked down too!

Organising a camp isn't easy, so I am thankful that this camp was successful despite it being the first we organised!
Haha lost my voice halfway through camp, so I'm glad it held out to the end (: Then Fish & Co, we celebrated Tan Yingxin's birthday. We sec4s 09 went down to sing a birthday song, and we decided to grab the live band's mics. Nat was supposed to sing with me but her mic wasn't working so I effectively sang a SOLO INTO THE MIC FOR THE WHOLE FISH & CO (the glass house @ park mall) !!!!!! It was a moment of insanity, but great fun, and Yingxin had a special birthday, so yup yay!

BOTTLE FORMATION CHALLENGE!
Teams had to form a mirror image of the formation found inside the class, with one person relating instructions.

RAINING FROM A BUCKET! Teams had to run across the amphi with a pail on top of their heads which has a huge slit! By far the most entertaining & hyped up. Everyone was really really sporting (:

Tarbet House Camp was a success (I think)
And I am happy.

Photos, and more details another time.
I love my captains, and Tarbet House Camp OT.

I think behind our smiles, you and I, we both know that things will never go back to the same.

Or maybe it's just me?

House camp in 6 hours, wish us capts luck (: Hope that it will be a success!

I called, You answered

I am very tempted to put everything down and start all over.

On a funnier note, we found a snake in the storeroom just now. My maid stepped on it. We screamed, and I peered (together with my mum) over the railing and listened to my maid standing on 2 stools as stilts, jabbing the small snake with broken bamboo poles till it died. My mum didn't believe my brother who ran to her room and yelled that my maid found a snake, till she saw me on the staircase landing laughing and screaming. It was hilarious. My mum and I were on our hands and knees watching. When we took the snake out, it moved. We screamed. My maid flung it back, and continued jabbing it. It sounded squelchy and disgusting.

We found a snake last time too, and my maid used a chopper last time.

It's just very funny. My brother keeps asking whether the snake will regenerate, like earthworms (my sis told him that, but I never knew earthworms regenerated). He is so scared that the snake will slither up the stairs and into his room. VERY CUTE BOY <3!

My head is throbbing, my throat is aching.
PLEASE DONT LET ME FALL SICK

I called, You answered
And You came to my rescue and I,
I wanna be where You are

My goal: To be able to say these words without doubt.

I CAN DO IT.

PATIENCE NEEDED, OR MAYBE I AM NOT READY.
But I will wait, I will prepare, I will open myself to You.

And we have perfect liberty

Teachers' Day today, I didnt have anything at all and I felt really bad cos I felt that this year's teachers have really impacted me a lot. But the period of time before Teachers' Day was just seriously crazy. Rain held off till after the concert
Had a nice chat with Mr B & Kaiying, he was laughing at me cos I couldn't open the rambutans  It was seriously difficult! Speech Day was boring and quite a waste of time, but I had fun with Quek Xinping playing thumbthumb! Mr J gave me leftover rambutans and that fruit thang, being the ever responsible teacher, so I had this pack of fruit with me (which I threw away in the end)
I shouted out the car window today.
"TERM THREE WAS A BAD TERM!!!!" It felt good.
I had lunch with Christine and Mummy at Cedele, yay I love times like these  I fell asleep in the car so I didnt say byebye to Christine, sorry!  I couldnt wake up at all.
I drank Milo at SICC for the first time in nearly 4 weeks. I've missed it. I played okay today. Bad backhand though.

I want a picnic on Sunday!

Jesus is alive!
Death has lost its victory, and the grave has been denied.
He's the Alpha & Omega,
The first and last is He
The curse of sin is broken
And we have perfect liberty
For the Lamb of God has risen!
He's alive, He's alive!
Hallelujah, Jesus is alive!

OMG I LOVE THIS SONG IT MAKES ME FEEL ALL HAPPY!
