Forensic Heroes II / 法证先锋 II

I've been watching a few episodes of this drama twice! First, it was showing in Hong Kong during my trip there in May. We managed to catch a few episodes sometimes when we're back in the hotel. Then, some stranger watched it in his laptop in the bus on the way to KL two months ago. I somehow got to peep on to his screen for another few episodes more.. LOL! Now, KT downloaded it and I'm gonna complete the whole show, FINALLY!

    Everyday is special..

Was thinking should I just chop off my hair 'coz I'm getting sick of it already. Keeping hair in this length is very troublesome, gotta tie it up every night before going to bed, otherwise it'd be accidentally pulled or pressed by 'my giant soft toy'. On the other hand, I was supposed to wait for the wedding gown to arrive so that I could take some pics.. But when? As I was thinking, I came into my room, and was surprised to find this thing lying on my bed..!

    Yesh! It has arrived!

I'm gonna hunt for places around S'pore for some photoshoots!  Any suggestion? I want the sea! Old buildings! Especially the church!

    AZNZY

    Love Is All Around 爱在你左右

    (Mon-Fri 7-8pm)

A Malaysian production? All actors and actresses in the drama are M'sians, even the scene too. The storyline is so-so. But the main actress, Apple Hong 洪乙心 plays her role sooooo well she is sooooo "三八" that makes her sooooo funny! I likey!  She acted sooooo differently from the previous drama "Just in Singapore 一房半厅一水缸".. Undeniably, she's got the skill eh!

P/S: My personal opinion, The Defining Moment 沸腾冰点 (Mon-Fri 9-10pm) is a lousy drama. Totally pointless, and it dragged on for toooo long! It's the first drama that I'd wanted everything to go wrong and the main actress (Fann Wong) dead. Just end everything whatever the ending is, and change another drama please!

    Golden Bauhinia Square 金紫荊廣場

The Golden Bauhinia Square is an open area in Wan Chai North. This is where the ceremonies for the handover of Hong Kong and the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region was held in July 1997. A flag-raising ceremony is held every day at 8:00am.

Notice that the flags were being lowered to half-mast to mourn the quake victims in Sichuan.

    Breakfast Time!

We starved ourselves the whole morning for this Polo Bun 菠萝包.

Heard it's the most delicious in town.. fresh from the oven!

Hmm.. One bite, and we were rather disappointed.

The bun was cold  and there's nothing so unusual about it.

    Ocean Park 海洋公園

According to the weather forecast, it should be a stormy day .. Thank goodness it didn't rain for the whole day! Maybe Ocean Park is located too far from the city? Or did the "x号风球" the day before has blown all the rain clouds away?  Thus, the four of us happily bought our tickets and took the Ocean Park shuttle bus to the Southern district of HK Island..

Under the huge balloon .. along with SL and YN.

JY decided to just wait for us on the ground..

It's kinda scary when it rose upward..

    .. second visit ..

KY knocked off work early that day. Since we've no other plan, we helped him fulfill his wish to pay a visit to the Peak. Moreover, due to the exceptionally nice weather, we'd like to try our luck again up there. As YN hasn't visited the Avenue of Stars, she and the four of us went separate ways after this.

Topless shuttle bus to the Tram Station..

    Still kinda misty..

    Sky Terrace

Paid about HK$20 per person, for this..

Only a few dots of lights?! duh!

    Us and nothingness..

P/S: "Someone" didn't dare to go near the glass railing.

We gave up and came down from the Sky Terrace, and found this better view outside the men's toilet! Not a really clear view, but at least we could see the buildings!

Well, I'm leaving on a tram now.. Ciao!

    Stay tuned for more!

P/S: Bad news.. Bro's been picked for the National Service (aka. Program Latihan Khidmat Negara). And it's really scary when I browsed through some info about this "deadly program" at wikipedia -> *click*. Sigh, there's nothing we can do now but to wish him luck. Suddenly, I'm reminded of the phrase.. "Whatever doesn't kill you simply makes you.. stranger." Duh, jokers give me nightmares.

  • Recently Watched..

    Redcliffposter

Red Cliff.. It was a so-so movie. Maybe one should do some research on Chinese history before going to the show. Accompanied a "fan of the Chinese history" to the show, you know who, but fell asleep halfway through the movie, during the lengthy war scenes , zzz.. But anyway, at least there are 'lengcai's to see!

    The_Dark_Knight_poster

Finally get to watch the Dark Night @ Jurong Point last night!  It was pretty good. You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain! Heh heh.. Quite 'gan jiong' although it's a little too 'chim' in front, maybe I'm not used to read Chinese subtitles. All in all, it's about the human nature, good or evil..

    * * *

    Next?

    the_mummy_tomb_of_the_dragon_emperor_movie_poster12

The Mummy 3.. Chinese warriors? Terracotta statues? Guess I'd need to go to the movie once more with hmm.. who else?

  • Me, myself.. My weekend.

    There goes the weekend.

He has gone back to hometown, all the way for his dad's b'day. Yah, great. Birthdays. Why wouldn't he do so for mine? For the past 4 years back in the uni? Sh*t, promised not to mention the past. Anyways, the timing is so wrong. When he's around, everyone else has programs that I couldn't join. Finally I thought I could spend this weekend getting involved in activities with friends around. But instead it ended up with me watching the Olympics and the NDP (both live and replay) at home. Crap.

Wanted to go watch "the movie of the year" - The Dark Knight, which is highly recommended by everyone who has watched it, yes, everyone, meaning nobody has not watch it. Bummer. Most of my M'sian friends, primary and secondary school friends, have gone back to hometown, 'coz Monday is a replacement for National Day for some companies. Colleagues? He wanted to go for a game, badminton or bowling, and went for volleyball in the end. She wanted to go for karaoke and went with someone who does not sing (if you have a "mic 霸" friend, you'll know why). He says he is broke. She? He? Nah..

Went out to have a walk after lunch, and bumping into this quite tall and fair Indian man when I was walking towards the MRT station..

I-man: "Excuse me. Do you speak English?"

    HL: *nods*

I-man: "Do you know where is the MRT station?"

HL: huh?! What do you mean where? It's right here.

I-man: "Er.. I'm going to meet my friends at Raffles Place. Which MRT do I take?"

    HL: *simply points* "There."

    I-man: "OK."

After a second, realised he was still moving parallel to me.

I-man: "Erm.. I'm going to have a drink with my friends. I'm wondering if you would join?"

    HL: ?!

And HL ran for her life!

Felt a little sick after that, so worried that I've kena his charm, not the "charming" charm, I mean spell, kong tau, like those cases in forwarded emails.. Look into one's eyes and the victim would be hypnotised and do whatever he/she was told. As for me, all I remember was he leaned forward, and his big eyes that kept staring. Maybe it was his eyes, I shouldn't have looked, shouldn't have bothered. Hahaa.. As if this whole crappy thing is real. But what if it's real? JY's response when he was told about it was.. "Oh.. Even Indian man is attracted to you huh?" *dang*  No sense of danger.
