Golden Bauhinia Square 金紫荊廣場
The Golden Bauhinia Square is an open area in Wan Chai North. This is where the ceremonies for the handover of Hong Kong and the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region was held in July 1997. A flag-raising ceremony is held every day at 8:00am.
Notice that the flags were being lowered to half-mast to mourn the quake victims in Sichuan.

Breakfast Time!
We starved ourselves the whole morning for this Polo Bun 菠萝包.
Heard it's the most delicious in town.. fresh from the oven!
Hmm.. One bite, and we were rather disappointed.
The bun was cold
and there's nothing so unusual about it.

Ocean Park 海洋公園
According to the weather forecast, it should be a stormy day
.. Thank goodness it didn't rain for the whole day! Maybe Ocean Park is located too far from the city? Or did the "x号风球" the day before has blown all the rain clouds away?
Thus, the four of us happily bought our tickets and took the Ocean Park shuttle bus to the Southern district of HK Island..

If you can see him there, means the balloon's a fake one.. lol!
Now I'm gonna fly in that REAL one!
Under the huge balloon
.. along with SL and YN.
JY decided to just wait for us on the ground..
It's kinda scary when it rose upward..
I bet "someone" would have fainted if he was in the balloon with us.

The Peak (Victoria Peak)
.. second visit ..
KY knocked off work early that day. Since we've no other plan, we helped him fulfill his wish to pay a visit to the Peak. Moreover, due to the exceptionally nice weather, we'd like to try our luck again up there. As YN hasn't visited the Avenue of Stars, she and the four of us went separate ways after this.
Topless shuttle bus to the Tram Station..
Still kinda misty..
View of HK from the Peak Tower
Blurry ~

Sky Terrace
Paid about HK$20 per person, for this..

Only a few dots of lights?! duh!

Us and nothingness..
P/S: "Someone" didn't dare to go near the glass railing.

We gave up and came down from the Sky Terrace, and found this better view outside the men's toilet! Not a really clear view, but at least we could see the buildings!

Well, I'm leaving on a tram now.. Ciao!
Stay tuned for more!

P/S: Bad news.. Bro's been picked for the National Service (aka. Program Latihan Khidmat Negara). And it's really scary when I browsed through some info about this "deadly program" at wikipedia -> *click*. Sigh, there's nothing we can do now but to wish him luck. Suddenly, I'm reminded of the phrase.. "Whatever doesn't kill you simply makes you.. stranger." Duh, jokers give me nightmares.
