October update

We've been busy getting into the hang of the school routine. The twins had a field trip where we went to a working farm, complete with outhouses. Fun, but the smell, not so much. Here are some pictures of them "roughing it."

We hit up a fall festival where Jaden's "whole life dream" came true, he got to go fishing. Here is the fish they caught. And yes, it's a real, live fish.

In mid October the zoo had their "Boo at the Zoo" event and the kids had a blast on the play toys there.

There was also a "Darth" duel that occurred, very fun to watch.

In recent weeks there has been a twin "pose" that has occurred several times. It's nice that they get along.

Eliana has become quite the rock star. Behold the peace sign pose..

She also grabbed my camera and took some self portraits. So arty!

Finally, we wish you a Happy Halloween! Here are some happy, about to be filled with candy twins. Oh, and Winnie the Pooh!

Fall thus far

We're having a good time in kindergarten so far with both kids having a blast at their new school. The second week featured crazy hair day and trust me, Jaden's mohawk was crazy.

We went to the Fair that same day and it was the last year of the kiddie rides. As you can tell, Eliana barely fits in the boat ride boat. Jaden on this particular trip was amazing at the games. See the picture of all the stuff animals they won.

On one of the final nights of the fair Jerry and I went to go see Carrie Underwood (she rocked by the way). Here is a rare photo of us on date night.

Friday was the first field trip for kindergarten. We went to Pioneer Farms, a working farm south of where we live. It's a working farm down to the outhouses. Nice to live in modern times with toilets :- ).

Hope your fall is going well so far. We're still enjoying the nice weather before the rainy season begins.

	Time flies... It was just yesterday, or seems like it anyway, that I was waking Jerry up at 5:30 in the morning to tell him the twins were on their way. I still remember the look on his face and him saying, "It's not time yet." Time has arrived for those sweet little babies to start school. I for one thought we'd never quite get here. Here are some photos from the morning.

The final Disney photos

We've walked so much both Jerry and I have blisters on our feet. Yet, we keep walking and riding rides. My favorite: Aerosmith roller coaster, Jaden: Mission Space, Eliana: Tower of Terror and Jerry: Expedition Everest.

On day 4 we went to Blizzard Beach. The camera was almost out of battery and Eliana took pictures before it shut down. Here are few pictures from there (a fun water park, by the way)

We went back to the Magic Kingdom on day 5 and here are a few pictures from that adventure (the source of Jerry's blisters)

For our final full day we went to Epcot and had a good time riding Soarin', the test track, and Mission Space. We also got to meet some characters...

This next photo is after we took our trip on the test track. It gave me visions of the future of when my twins turn SIXTEEN and can drive. Yikes!

We fly home tomorrow. The twins start kindergarten on Tuesday and I start my new job at Catholic Family Services on Wednesday. Hopefully I'll get in a bit more blogging than I did while in grad school.

Animal Kingdom....

Did not disappoint. We managed to Fast Pass to the Everest roller coaster and my Jaden, at five years old, rode it like a champ. He even wanted to go again! Here are a few pictures from the day.
