| Ok, so it has officially been forever, but I wanted to post to say two things:
1. Happy Summer! Hope you like it hot:)
2. It is 12 days until the wedding. Ahhhh!!!!
That is all for now. Sorry, I have been a crappy xanga friend latel
| I am kind of a xanga slacker. Hopefully, you all haven't given up on my page. Five weeks and then I can guarantee there will be many more posts:) (No school:))
So, I am drinking my tea and starting to plan for tomorrow's half day:) and I decided to think a minute. Last week I was at a conference where I had the opportunity to present something from the last year. I have seen the film, Crash a few times and decided to spring board off of that. I mean, those of us who work with people daily, isn't this sort of our experience? No, we don't exactly verbalize it as Ludacris's character did nor yell racist things bluntly as someone of a different race fixes our door locks. It's been cool to also introduce this idea to my students. How we all come into the same room at the same time daily, and yet we carry an ever-changing story with us. And I love the idea of crashing into each other's lives. Conflict is a part of it. We are changed because of our experiences. Just today, I had another crashing experience...they leave me wondering and savoring such a sweetness--or maybe its the fascination of "not knowing." I can't veralize it yet.
Oh, if i learn to listen more than assume and ask questions more than I reprimand.
Enjoy reading your posts. Happy May:)

Happy tree day...enjoy the buds--oh wait. that's what some of my nineth graders did on their holiday.

| Teaching leaves me speechless. Along with death, many things do not have that capability with me. Maybe I am inexperienced or over talkative (please don't respond to that!), but I sit stumped and amazed at the human mind, soul and the learning process...
Plus, I have way of an understanding on the patience of God.
I may need to join a fellow student of mine in anger management classes after this year:) But I think spring may cure that need. It is reviving me:)
Hope everyone is breathing in the spring air!

It's doing strange and soothing things to me this week.
