Welcome To MooSE LaYouTz,
Here at Moose Layoutz, we aim to achieve perfection. We like to keep our fellow xangans proud to say they get their layouts at Moose Layoutz!
FAQ:
Q.What are layouts? A.Layouts are a CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) code that if you have an Xanga website, you would copy and paste into your Custom Header in your Look & Feel section.
Q.How do I get your layouts? A.To get our layouts scroll down our Main Page until you see the box on the right that says: "Layoutz Quik Pik." Then click on a topic in the box below it and click a specific layout...That link should take you to a sample page with it's layout code in it.
Q.How do I know if it's a "real" layout or If you're hacking me or something? A.Well, it's pretty much impossible to hack a specific owner of an Xanga, but completely impossible with a CSS code. Make sure all your layout codes have a code like this inside: (Can be anywhere in code, because for extras like blink boxes may be posted ahead of the accual layout codes and the numbers don't have to be the same because they determine color.)
<style type=text/css> body { background color: #00000; scrollbar-arrow: #0033FF;
If you see CSS in the code (first code snippet) it can't harm you, but could screw up your Xanga, if you got it from a different place then us. If that ever happens log out, go to Xanga's homepage and log in with Safe Mode checked below your username and password and get rid of that code!
Q.I'm completely new to Xanga, how do I get this Custom Header you've been talking about? A.Log into your account and click on your Look & Feel link. Then where it says Create Your Own Custom Header, click the drop-down list arrow and select Input Your Own Custom Header HTML. Then paste the code inside.
Q.Why must I put your codes only in my Custom Header? A.Well, some of them (our codes) have a little 'bit of HTML codes in it so if you put it in your Webstats Section or something else, it might not work.
Q.How can I create my own layouts? A.It takes a long, long time before you can really start to understand computer codes like this, (creating codes and programs like this can be a real career) I don't even know half of it, so for now just join our Blogring (must join to request) and comment or something to request a Free Customized Layout!
Q.I don't want the layout I have anymore. How do I get rid of it? A.That's a very simple question. Just go where you pasted the layout code and manually use your Backspace button on your keyboard to get rid of it! If you're having trouble finding the code AIM one of us or comment on a Weblog Entry and tell us your password and we'll get rid of it for you. You can change your password afterwards.
For more simple FAQ questions go to Xanga's FAQ. Applying Layouts: To Apply Layout FOR COMPLETE BEGINNERS: Copy (to copy click and drag the mouse arrow over all the code to highlight it all then right click anywhere highlighted and select Copy on the menu) the code on the sample page, go to your Xanga, log in, select Look & Feel (or if you're logged in right now click this LINK). Then if you haven't already, select the drop-down list that says Create Your Own Custom Header, and select Input Your Own Header HTML. Then paste (to paste right click where you want whatever you copied and select Paste on the menu) the code into the box below. You will lose your title that Xanga supplyed but when you get better you can learn to make your own title with codes like the top of this website!
