| a devilishly new phaseback 'gain. i thought i'd forced myself to come back after an half month of absence. i have no excuse onto why ive been away, just havin' been xangain'.
so before i get started, i need to state two things that im currently annoyed 'bout. that is, that sony has announced another psp in the works and that square-enix will be bringin' out a dissidia bundle pack with the release of the dissidia game. first thing, it wasn't too long ago that sony decided to show off the new psp comparin' with the slim and lite model. and no, this aint no psp two. its the psp three thousand. fuckin' great. so what have i got? ive got the first model, which is the model one thousand or rather. my second psp, the final fantasy crisis core psp, which is the silm and lite or rather the two thousand model. now sony decided to take a step up with a new psp. complete with a clearer crisp screen, new shape (well not entirely), a built-in microphone, a playstation button (basically "home" button has now a playstation logo on it, matchin' the playstation three controller), an av component output (yes 'bout time, prolly the only shit thats worth buyin' the shit) and other shit that i didn't really bother with. great. just when i finally updated my psp so that i could state that i have the latest model, sony turns 'round and goes "ah no, you don't anymore". well fuck you sony. arrgh the shits 'bout playstation now. why can't it be the good old playstation one and two days 'gain? the bullshit now with the playstation three and the bahjillion types of psps. my ds shits me, but at least i don't have to change it once in awhile. the other thing thats upset me was that the one of the new upcomin' final fantasy title on psp (aside with just the stand-alone game) will come with a pack that includes a dissidia playstation portable console. yes, another final fantasy psp. arrgh what the fuck square-enix? youve now got three (yes, three or probably four) final fantasy ds's and two final fantasy psps... in the end, whats so limited edition 'bout all this shit now? oh wells, with the new psp comin' out soon, hopefully the dissidia psp will be the new psp three thousand.
great isn't it how both things that im annoyed 'bout coincide with each other? in the end, hopefully they make up for each other and its all good in the end. and yeah, since my first psp is fallin' apart anyways, so i guess i might replace it after all.
so whats been the shit over this last month or so? well, i picked up both resident evil survivor two for the playstation two and metal gear solid two: substance for the original xbox. both of which i found in a second-hand store. i absolutely adore these stores. they have no fuckin' clue 'bout anythin' gamin', so theres no value for the games that are old. this is gold, because people can be sellin' great games for a fraction of its price and that means i pick up some rare shit for nearly nothin’ at all. but so, though the two titles aren't that great, they were two titles for my resident evil and metal gear solid collection. anywayz, the first of which the games i picked up was resident evil survivor two: code veronica. i have no idea whether or not this is worth pickin' up at all. maybe just for the bearin' of the title brand... but thats 'bout it. the game already states the it is a tie-in from the code veronica x game for playstation two and gamecube, yet there isnt much expansion to the main original story at all. the gameplay is pretty old now with the out-dated graphics and the exclusion of the use of wieldable light gun unlike the original resident evil gun survivor... which is a somewhat of disappointment as i was lookin' forward onto usin' my light gun i specifically bought for resident evil: dead aim. looks like im stuck with only one game to use this gun for. *edit* actually i am wrong here, apparantly it is possible to use playstation's g-con light gun controller. though, as it states that the game is rounded like as a first person shooter... yeah, i have yet to play this game. gimmie a day playin' it. resident evil survivor two: code veronica even has the inclusion (yes, thats right the inclusion) of the nemesis from the third resident evil. which fully doesnt make sense. for all that, i have no idea what the hell was capcom (and for some reason, namco) on when decidin' to do this. but another resident evil to the collection, makes it all the worth.
other than that, i managed to pick up metal gear solid two: substance. finally. i have been actually holdin' out for a very very long time to pick this one up, though i dunno yet if this is a wise move whereas i could’ve picked up the playstation version instead... certain things made me hesitate and some didn’t. reason why i picked up substance for the xbox, is that i already have sons of liberty for the playstation. its the same damn game. but my hesitation was that metal gear solid two: substance is yet to appear on the backwards compatible list. the problem is that i only have a three-sixty. so im pretty much just holdin' out until i either pick up an original xbox or 'till komani and microsoft update the three-sixty's title compatibility. so yeah, in the end, reason why i do have it is that it was there. cheap and in near new condition. and even so, if i do find the playstation version, i could always trade it in towards that anywhoos.
in my sega days, i loved sonic the hedgehog. my md was used mostly for the original sonic trilogy. ever since, ive been playin' and collectin' sonic games. in my playstation one days, i played both final fantasy eight and resident evil two, which both respectively got my into their series. now for me, my gamin' collection is stacked upon my wall each game on top of each other. this is purely because i still yet to get myself a shelf or some kind of book case to store them all in. this is where my games is at, i have few other games (psone and gba titles in a drawer somewhere, titles that im currently playin' next to my xbox three-sixty in the other room, and some xbox titles and brawl at my girlfriends joint), but the majority of my games are here.
 so yeah as you can see, all of my last-gen titles are on the bottom (playstation two, gamecube and then xbox titles on top of that), then 'bove that is all my next-gen titles... which is basically just all my three-sixty titles, then above that is my cherished collection. at first a few months ago, it was my resident evil titles, then sonic titles, then my final fantasy titles. then it took a turn and then it contains; metal gear solid, resident evil, sonic, and then on top of them were my final fantasy titles. so what is it now, well you could look at the picture posted 'bove, but its 'bit too hard to determine whats what. but yeah, pretty much the same, but now a devil may cry collection has now been included. and now, im even considerin' addin' the silent hill collection too.
at the moment, im currently on a devil may cry phase. from a final fantasy phase from the start of the year, to a metal gear solid phase in june, to a slight resident evil phase in late july, to a devil may cry phase startin' mid-august. a silent hill phase might come up soon, but i wont go into that just yet. when i do, i will write 'bout it. but at the moment, i am currently huntin' for devil may cry titles. the phase started exactly how my metal gear solid phase started. as the post "solid as a snake" on june ten states; my metal gear solid hype phase started since i chose to grab metroid prime one and two for the nintendo gamecube instead of a limited edition of metal gear solid three: snake eater. and for the days after, i thought 'bout this game over and over. the more i thought 'bout this shit, the more i wanted it. from there, my metal gear solid phase began. well, ironically, i picked up metal gear solid two for the xbox instead of devil may cry three: dante's awakenin' for the playstation two. i guess you guys are now lookin' down on me for pickin' up a shitty resident evil title and a metal gear solid game that ive already got instead of a kick-ass devil may cry game. that, or you guys are lookin' down on me for not ownin' a single devil may cry title at all. yes yes i know. but now thats no longer true. ive bought devil may cry one and two over the last few days. and then, i might go back and pick up dante's awakenin' and at same day devil may cry four in a limited collectors edition tin case for the xbox three-sixty at the end of the weekend. so thats the whole devil may cry series in one week.

| squall and rinoa: motivation to play diablo... wait wtfsorry i havent posted a blog for ages. its been 'bit of busy-ness shit with a twenty-first and uni tafe shit and then the other side where ive just been bored. it was just one of those weeks where every single you do, isnt the thing that can be fucked doin'. yes yes whatever. but i found my anti-solution to my boredomness.
since i barred out of playin' resident evil, call of duty four and final fantasy for multiple reasons... i needed a game that would take me ages to play and yet be excitin' as the next. that which i came up is diablo two.
yes, i forgot 'bout this game. i had a post (sorry, i can't be fucked findin' a link) previously that i finished diablo one in two days. well now im hittin' it for the sequel... though ive never finished it before, so it sorta makes it hard to figure out what plan for ahead. but whatever. ive havin' fun and im out of boredomness.
no pictures of diablo, but i do have a picture of the squall and rinoa i put next to my macbook where im playin' diablo two at the moment. i dunno. i just like havin' this next to my laptop... so fuckin' awesome.
yesh, it was not made that way. i bought the separately, but i bought them both for this reason. and it works. aww. its kinda sad, but final fantasy eight was such a fuckin' awesome game. and since square-enix left me wantin' for more squall and rinoa... other than leon in kingdom hearts, i was left for this.
fuck. now i want to finish kingdom hearts two...

| good move nintendo, but i still love my pspi think im in one of those slow days. i dunno, it feels like i aint up to where im supposed to be. that, or i think everyone around me is movin’ the day way faster than me. either way, i didnt get the good start i wanted for today. but yeah, there wasnt much to write 'bout over the weekend. it mainly consisted of guitar hero, brawl, and a great twenty-first. haha drunken guitar hero, now that was fun.

when i opened up brawl for the first time, i received a lil’ booklet in which it contained an invitation to the supposed ‘nintendo club’. aight so like a bahjillion people would have since, that many people have bought brawl, sonic mario olympics, mario kart wii, and/or wii fit. well i finally decided to check out this shit since i was bored at the time. after loggin’ onto the nintendo club website and enterin’ a unique code included in the booklet. and with that, what was that all worth? nothin’. absolutely nothin’ at all. it was still a website in the makin’, yeah good one nintendo.
but to be honest, this is actually an awesome idea from nintendo. i actually see this as an attempt to prevent game piracy, though it aint a complete solution to piracy, its a good way to reward people who actually do buy the games other than just downloadin’ and/or burnin’ wii games. each unique code will go towards some goal system or hell knows what, and the more games bought the more codes you receive. this in turn, actually makes players want to buy more games also. smart move nintendo, lets just see where this website will lead nintendo. ‘till then i’ll play brawl. signin’ up to the nintendo website, made me think of my registration on to the xbox three-sixty website and the sony playstation website. though i pretty much access the three-isxty account everytime i turn on my three-sixty, so nothin’ new there, but as for my playstation account... i havent really touched on that since i havent got a playstation three to register with. but i do have two psps. i had logged into the playstation website back in june this year, though i have had my first playstation portable for ‘bout a year and a half now. i just didnt bother to register the shit until a few months back from now. but yeah, after loggin’ back into my playstation account ‘gain, i noticed that i only have the one psp only registered on my account. well it was long until i went out to get out my new final fantasy psp and register that.
afterwards, i was bored ‘gain. but this time i had my psp out. this made me think ‘bout how much i used this shit. and the answer is hardly at all, feels like ive slowly played my psp less and less. should be surprised as to a person whom prefers a psp over a ds, yet i play my ds more than my psp. and yeah, because that really does make sense. but nah, that only because of final fantasy three and four, i have been playin’ my ds more. as of the late, i actually do have been playin’ psp more. with bleach and sonic x episodes on my ipod, ive been wantin’ to play heat the soul and sonic rivals, but bleach more.
i plan to find final fantasy one and two, rivals two, monster hunter portable one, two or both for my psp. that will probably make me want to play my psp more. thats if i dont find revenant wings, rings of fate, grimoire of the rift, world ends or rush adventure before then. but then ‘gain, most likely i’ll end up will more three-sixty or wii titles knowin’ me. before i end this, i was thinkin’ of my ds and how wrecked it is at the moment. it seriously feel like its been over played (well not really), but i really do want to grab my a new ds in the long run. but lookin’ at my psp and how cool the whole final fantasy thing with it, i decided to see if there was any final fantasy ds’ there are. well, there is. but there aint one, theres three. a final fantasy three ds, a final fantasy twelve: revenant wings sky pirate ds, and a final fantasy crystal chronicles: rings of fate gemini ds. all of them white with engravings or shit of the games characters of the respective game. none of them look better than the other, meanin’ none of them stand out more than the other.

| yeah, i cant be fucked typin' shitive been soo tired today... yet, i managed to cram hours worth of guitar hero and brawl. so pretty much i had a lazy friday today. so theres pretty much nothin' to say.
actually, somethin' worth postin' is that i had another go at sonic the hedgehog on xbox three-sixty. and not the marketplace arcade sonic one either, i mean the shithouse next-gen piece of shit of a game sonic the hedgehog.
i cant believe how fuckin' shit this game is. i saw it at the store goin' for fifteen bucks because nobody wants to waste their money on a game soo hard purely of the fact that the controls are sooo bad. you cant control sonic at all because of the bad control, and the camera doesnt help at all. and when you thought that was it, the shithouse voice actin', the fucked up story (a romance between a cartoon hedgehog and a human), the new characters (not that sonic needs more characters over the fifty bahjillion that already there), and the loadin' times! oh god the loadin' times are the absoulte worst. get this:
talk to someone onto start a mission. loadin' screen. the same person, in a different angle tell you in a breif two or three lines onto what to do for the mission. loadin' screen. mission. loadin' screen. same person 'gain, this time to say whether you did go or not. loadin' screen. mission complete screen. loadin' screen. back to the game.
argh, and dont even get me started on whats happens when you fuck up the mission. yes another fifty bahjillion loadin' screens. argh the games soo fuckin' bad.
sonic one on the original mega drive genesis was gold. im actually proud that sonic was the first ever game i played and loved. now with this next-gen shit goin' 'round, how the fuck am i supposed to play sonic anymore. hopefully the new sonic unleashed will bring me back 'round.... but what the fuck? sonic turns into a werewolf... actually, to be exact onto what they call it; a werehog.

| not even good enough to be a guitar villianfuck. yeah great, now im wantin’ to play guitar hero. i dont think it was in the chick in last post before it that did. i just want to not suck at it. for anyone who guitar heroes... dont you hate it when you fly through until halfway and the miss one note? just one note. afterwards youre there finishin’ the rest of the song knowin’ you were one note away from completin’ it perfectly. youre stuck there contemplatin’ to just reach from that start button to restart... but you tell your yourself to just finish the song anyways for high-score reasons. argh.

i finally found final fantasy four ‘gain after when i lost the game. found in a pair of used jeans on the floor of my room. gross. yeah luckly i have a ds cartridge case for the games that i playin’ at the moment for my ds.
so i played it on the train today for the second time. and what was annoyin’ is that they didnt use the same formula they used for final fantasy three. for some reason, in final fantasy three, square-enix never really utilised the top screen of the ds. once in awhile there would be a map in the top screen and then the top screen would be the current screen when switched to the main menu... yeah, because that makes sense. sorry, im never the best writer. aight, so where was i at. yeah, so most of the time final fantasy three everythin’ happens on the bottom screen. but i aint sayin’ thats a bad thing, thats good thing because the whole time i used a stylus throughout the whole game of final fantasy three. but some fucked up reason, they turn around the whole shit for final fantasy four. what was for that? now youre forced to play with a d-pad when in battle, due to the fact that the battle screen is on the top screen and all the battle information is on the bottom screen... what the fuck square-enix? wouldnt it be smart if you swapped the screens ‘round so people can actually use the stylus? instead of forcin’ to switch between the two. especially with amount of battles you go through. theres not even a option to switch screens. at least in final fantasy three, if you didnt want to play with a stylus then do so. but now with this scheme for four, with the whole annoyance with stylus-less battles, its better off by playin’ with the d-pad.
i guess, every single non-ds final fantasy youre playin’ with d-pad anywhooz. but i thought with the same developers, matrix software, responsible for remakin’ also final fantasy three on ds... you’d think they’d do the same thing for four. somethin’ on the lines like final fantasy one and final fantasy two for the playstation portable bein’ identical in gameplay. i guess not.
final fantasy four may be an improvement from final fantasy three, with graphics, added auto-battle feature (for the times where i cant be fucked battlein’) and added voice actin’... but with the whole stylus-less shit, i prefer three over four.
