I have been blessed with a great gift. The Lord has commanded me to use this gift as a weapon, and I hope and pray that my gift fulfills this command.
Here are some songs I made and the stories behind them:
"A Little Longer"
This is a cover of a Brian & Jen Johnson song. The first time I heard it, I was sincerely broken...the bridge part is from the perspective of God, saying he loves us so much.
I came back from a retreat with a broken voice and convicted heart, and at that moment, I decided to record this.
"On My Knees"
This is a rap I wrote about a year and a half ago. I can still say that even now, this song reverberates very strongly in my heart. It's a song about being transparent with the Lord, struggling with myself to submit to His will.
"You Are God"
This is a praise song I wrote. It's kinda theologically off, as Christ's death was the moment we were redeemed from sin, not when he rose again.
But other than that, I wrote this as just a song that proclaims that He is the Lord, and that we need him. Simple as that.
"i"
This is a song I've kept more under the wraps. I don't really know why.
I wrote this song in frustration with myself. Just listen, please.
"Prodigal"
This is a song about an apathy that runs through me and many in my generation. I try to be as honest as possible.

I pray these songs may convict, teach, maybe renew. I am a weapon, a soldier.
