Q: I like a banner and I want to put it on my site. There is no image code..soo... wtf??

To Direct Link*

  • Iif you are getting your banner from our site. you need to click the image so you can get the actual size
  • After you see the actual image, right click the image to display the extra options menu
  • On this menu, scroll down to the last option, properties, and click it like this
  • After clicking, you will get a pop up window.  The third section down  that says "ADDRESS (URL)" like this has a website address. This is the direct link to that image.
  • Highlight the address and copy it.
  • Now that you have the url, you need to put it into an html code so you can display the baner. More on that in the Coding part of this page.

  • To Save the Image & Host Yourself

  • Iif you are getting your banner from our site. you need to click the image so you can get the actual size
  • After you see the actual image, right click the image to display the extra options menu
  • On this menu, scroll down to option, "save image as" or "save picture as" (depending on your browser) and click it. Like this
  • After clicking, you will get a pop up window like any other "save as" action. Name the file what you want, save it where you want, and now you have it on your own computer.
  • To upload it go to an uploading site. I reccomend tinypic.com or imageshack.us
  • Once there, click browse, find your file, and host it.
  • Now that you have hosted with one of these site, you have a url for the image.
  • Now,  you need to put it into an html code so you can display the baner. More on that in the Coding part of this page.
  •

    HTML Coding

  • Now that you have the url, you need a code to get it where ever it is you are putting it.
  • If it is in your look and feel, then make sure you are inputing your own html.
  • If it is in an entry, you need to check the box that says edit html before you enter this code in.
  • THE CODE = <IMG SRC="IMAGE URL HERE"</A>
  • That's it!
  •

If you have an issue, comment on the main site and I will be glad to help you!

*I have absolutley no problem with direct linking. I host these images on tinypic and imageshack, so when the bandwidth is exceeded, I still have the image. No sweat off my ass! (gross!)
