New Lens

Hi All,

I apologize for not posting more. I stared algebra and biology courses last week. It is taking all my energy to make it through the days right now. Sad but true.

I was very happy to attend a friend's wedding this past weekend...it was divine! I have no photos! I decided not to haul around the camera and just enjoy.  On the way to the wedding our minivan took it's last breath while crossing the Zilwaukee bridge. We coasted to the exit but that was that.

Long story short. Soy beans make my legs itch like crazy...My Step Dad, Steve and Mom are the most excellent people on earth!

New van and new camera lens. What did I do to deserve such loving parents?!

Here are a few shots I took a minute ago with the new lens. (Tamron 70-300mm f4-5.6 LD macro 1:2)

I had the exciting opportunity to work with Ann Dougherty on her Learn Great Foods herb booklet.

I think they look amazing and they have some excellent recipes in them as well.

Take a look at her website. Maybe you would like to sign up for one of her informative weekends.

Thanks again Ann!

Trusting Choices

Trust Your Choices
Taurus Daily Horoscope

The difficult choices you might face could make you feel disheartened today. Perhaps it is hard to stick to one idea or you feel apprehension about making a mistake. Reminding yourself that everything you do is a learning experience could help you loosen your grip on yourself and create more realistic expectations about the future. Should you notice yourself feeling overwhelmed today, you might close your eyes and repeat an affirmation such as, “No matter what, everything is okay,” or “I make the best choices for myself.” As you say your affirmation, remember to breathe deeply and with awareness. Using affirmations like this might give you more confidence to trust in the way your life unfolds.

The choices we make are always for the best. Though we might be afraid of failing or that what we decide to do will take us down the wrong path, if we approach our lives as a series of learning experiences we will begin to see that even the seemingly bad choices have the potential to lead to positive outcomes. So often we think of our lives as being linear—one decision or event following the next. In reality our life path is much more organic, and realizing this makes it easier for us to let go and simply go with the flow. Recognizing today that your choices are always positive will strengthen your faith and trust that things will work out for the better.
