Hiatus!

O Levels and Prelims coming up, so off to mugger-land I go!

(I finally got my white dress for confirmation. It's this Sunday. And then there's Heritage Day coming up in about a week. Welfare meetings and dry-run coming up. Jia you!)

Enchante!

Our first and last handbells concert was a blast.  I can't believe it's over so fast! (Wow, that rhymed.) I really enjoyed every single second of the performance. The applause was so heart-warming; I want to do it all over again.  My uncle helped me take a lot of photos from the concert. Many un-glam ones, but many nice candid shots as well! Haha, he makes a good photographer.

Thank you for the lovely flowers and for the great time we had together!

Happy Mothers' Day! Mummy's in Japan right now, and I miss her. Popo was happy when I got her two carnations from church. Went present shopping at West Mall. There are like eight of my friends' birthdays in May.

Omg, I need to do my Lit essay.

SC Carnival

There's always a time lapse in my posts nowadays. Anyway, SC Carnival was on last Saturday. It was great fun! I sprayed my hair pink and gold and got a (temporary) tattoo.  There was lots of food, but the crowd was too difficult to walk through, so I just bought a pretzel, honey joys (from Yocelyn's stall; they were quite delicious!) and some drinks. Priscilla was really nice; she took my order from our seats in the canteen and delivered my bubble tea to me. The weather was so HOT.

Went for dance after the carnival. Yunyi and i cam-whored in the toilet again. Haha we do crazy things.

I used up all the tissue boxes in my house, and all the packets of tissue in the car. Sigh, I had a runny nose for three days.  Didn't feel like going to school on Wednesday, but it was photo-taking day. My last photo-taking in SC with my class and with the PB! Couldn't miss it for the world. I'll miss being in SCGS.

Ran 2.4km for Napfa test this morning. The weather was nice and cloudy, so I decided to run despite my un-recovered cold, resulting in a lousy timing. But it still allows me to get a gold if my other items are good enough.

One more thing: Handbells concert (Enchante) on Saturday, 10th May 2008, 7pm at the SCGS Khoo Auditorium. BE THERE.

Fabulous Friday (:

Sports day in the morning! Was emcee-ing with Zay, and I had no idea it would be so tiring and disorganised. Haha anyway it was a new experience which made me practise for Prelim oral exam. I just realised it's in 4 days time.  We weren't very good at sounding hyper over the lousy sound system and had limited re-phrasing of "Come on everyone, cheer for your class!" Haha and we kept getting electrocuted by the metal table legs which was near the wires. So that was how I spent my last sports day in SC!

After that, we gathered everyone outside the stadium to board the bus to Sentosa! Our long-awaited PB outing. RGS had their sports meet right after ours, so I saw Sarah (and screamed when I realised she was behind me), Jeanhui and Elaine.  I miss you guys!

Though only half the PB went, everyone was really energetic anyway, so it was great fun. We planned out games for them, which included building sandcastles and a scavenger hunt. It was threatening to rain halfway, but at least we still had our wet-weather plan to keep us entertained. Haha our group "cheer" was funny, though it was more of a song and dance. I'll let pictures do the talking.

The super cool marching contingents. Prefects did a great job this year! I wonder if we were anything near this standard during the previous sports day.

Then we sat on the beach to watch the sunset. Just like the last outing; so romantic huh! Haha it was a really amazing sunset.

Do you see the eagle? (As in the cloud in the shape of an eagle.)

I can't find enough words to say how proud I am of Welfare for putting so much effort and enthusiasm into planning an outing like this.  I'm glad everyone had a crazy time there! As someone told me, "This is what you get when you give prefects a day off!" I shared Belgian Chocolate with Subha after we cleared the place. (Unlike the last time I had it, it didn't keep me awake at all! My legs were too exhausted.)

Took the monorail to Vivo and had dinner with the juniors. It was a long and happy day. I love SCPB!
