Fabulous Friday (:Sports day in the morning! Was emcee-ing with Zay, and I had no idea it would be so tiring and disorganised. Haha anyway it was a new experience which made me practise for Prelim oral exam. I just realised it's in 4 days time. We weren't very good at sounding hyper over the lousy sound system and had limited re-phrasing of "Come on everyone, cheer for your class!" Haha and we kept getting electrocuted by the metal table legs which was near the wires. So that was how I spent my last sports day in SC! After that, we gathered everyone outside the stadium to board the bus to Sentosa! Our long-awaited PB outing. RGS had their sports meet right after ours, so I saw Sarah (and screamed when I realised she was behind me), Jeanhui and Elaine. I miss you guys! Though only half the PB went, everyone was really energetic anyway, so it was great fun. We planned out games for them, which included building sandcastles and a scavenger hunt. It was threatening to rain halfway, but at least we still had our wet-weather plan to keep us entertained. Haha our group "cheer" was funny, though it was more of a song and dance. I'll let pictures do the talking.
The super cool marching contingents. Prefects did a great job this year! I wonder if we were anything near this standard during the previous sports day.

And this is my group's (not tallest) but most artistic sand-sculpture!

Then we sat on the beach to watch the sunset. Just like the last outing; so romantic huh! Haha it was a really amazing sunset.
Do you see the eagle? (As in the cloud in the shape of an eagle.) I can't find enough words to say how proud I am of Welfare for putting so much effort and enthusiasm into planning an outing like this. I'm glad everyone had a crazy time there! As someone told me, "This is what you get when you give prefects a day off!" I shared Belgian Chocolate with Subha after we cleared the place. (Unlike the last time I had it, it didn't keep me awake at all! My legs were too exhausted.) Took the monorail to Vivo and had dinner with the juniors. It was a long and happy day. I love SCPB! |
