    Tina Folsom Photography is heading down to Dauphin Island for the week of May 24th until May 31st.  We still have several session time slots open for individuals and families.  We would love to add you to our week!!!
     
     
    We are completely booked for Friday the 30th and Saturday the 31st, but Memorial Day weekend still has openings as well as several of our weeknights.

  • Our Tutu Session


    I thought I would update everyone on this month's Tutu Mini-session. 
    The day went VERY well.  I had a wonderful time with all the girls.  The Pettiskirts were wonderful and so easy to slip on and off for a variety of images.  I am planning an urban pettiskirt day for later in the Summer!  In the meantime, the pettiskirts can be requested for any upcoming session.

  • Mr. Sawyer

    I had the privilege of taking 6 month pictures of a sweet little man that I haven't seen since his newborn session and he was such a good little model.  He came out to the garden all smiles and ready to go!  I am working hard on his edits and wanted to get a sneak peek out for everyone to see this cutie.

  • My Little Dancer Girl


    These are a couple fun shots I took playing with my daughter.  She got a new hat and we walked down to see the horse.  She loves to pose!  I decided to try something a little warmer in color and even a texture on the second one.  I have a LOT of images from this session with her to keep me busy this week.

  • Mini-sessions

    April Mini-Sessions

    Our Girl's day is now scheduled for April 19th due to a delay in preordered pettiskirts arriving and because my hubby is heading out of town as well.  I am really looking forward to the 19th.

    Tutu's and Tennis Shoes is an annual tradition many of our clients really look forward to with their girls.  I even have one client bringing her son *smile* but mostly to watch and play with his big sisters :)

    The following weekend we have scheduled the new addition to our Mini-Sessions that I bet will be a favorite in years to come.  The boys session is:

    Blue Jeans and Boats
    April 26th, 2008
    Aldridge Gardens

    I have a variety of blue jean overalls in many sizes and will have a few boats for the kids to play with as well.  The sailboats are my favorite!

  • Upcoming Mini-Sessions


    Coming up in April are two special limited edition sessions.  One for boys and one especially for girls.

    The girls session is the first one and I am SO looking forward to it.  It is my favorite every year.

    We will have all the cute pettiskirts and tutus in various colors and sizes for your little ones and older girls as well.  Please call early to book these sessions they do fill up fast and and are so much fun I wouldn't want you to miss out and have to wait til next year.

    I am excited to try out the black pettiskirt on my almost 11 year old with her special Hannah Montana rocker look she has planned.  We just have to go find her some black or purple high tops for the special day.

    (side note:  Removed from this dated blog was a mention of the Kaiya Eve Pettiskirts we would be using and a link to their website, but they asked I take down the link to their site because I was not an authorized seller???  Also, the pettiskirts took two months to arrive and I have decided next year to purchase all my pettiskirts from Oopsy Daisy as they arrived in only a few days and are beautiful.  I don't need the hassle of  legal threats for using a link in my blog or advertising a product from my sessions. I have a client who just ordered her own Oopsy Daisy pettiskirt and she loves it too!)

  • Textures


    I thought I would go online and learn something new today...something I like to do as a photographer to stay on top of things.  I learned a little bit more about Photoshop CS3 and shortcuts.  I looked into gathering and using textures more.  And I found several very useful websites.  I love the Pay it Forward photographers site.

    Here's a couple pics I used textures on of my boys.
