FOOTSPA Proudly Presents: The Ohsix Fairytale

Once upon a time, a girl named Pang and a boy named Wang bumped into each other. It was love at first sight.

To their delight, years later, they found out that they were to be reunited in the class of 07IP06, and so they decided to celebrate their reunion at the Class Outing (in which less than a quarter of the class turned up) while watching "Night At The Museum". They did not end up watching much of the movie as they were too caught up staring into each others' eyes.

To Pang's horror, when the school year started, she discovered that she had not one, not two, but THREE love rivals competing for Wang's affection: (Then single)Mrs Handsome,Shuliet (who was actually already attached to Racheo, but proved unfaithful) and Kia Mui the Candy/Muffin/ Chicken Rice shop owner.

Wang was entranced into buying Watermelons for Mrs Handsome during the first month of school, but soon returned to Pang (and bought her PINEAPPLES). Mrs Handsome moved on to her Wan and only, and soon married Mr Handsome the next year.

Shuliet, though attached to Racheo, decided to lure Wang in too! She even strategically seated herself next to him for a period of time. Fortunately, a Tiger came prowling and stole Shuliet away. Racheo still ended up without Shuliet.

Kia Mui was the craftiest of them all. As the Singapore Hen, together with Kia Soo, her brother, she knew all the tactics for luring Wangs into her deathly Chicken Rice Trap. However, Kia Mui quickly spotted other prey and left Wang to Pang.

Early this year, by a stroke of Fate, Wang and Pang were reunited in seating position. And they lived Happily Ever After.

A FEW HOUSE UPDATES

hey guys, haven't blogged here for long

anyway, although i know we had bad experiences with ignis because we never really agreed with anything about the house, but still please do put in effort, it's what you do that makes your house rock, and let's make this current ignis better than last year's alright?

laura has awesome ideas by the way, which need all of you to cooperate in order for ignis to really really stand out

so, let's see what we have:

1)      Challenge Shield Competition
·         Soccer, as many teams as possible

2)      National Day Item
·         NDC Theme: Working Magic
·         30% of NE cup!!! Substantial amount!!
·         “Chao ji bian bian bian” à check youtube http://youtube.com/watch?v=Qq9qIZmTQCw  if you need an idea
·         5 minute performance
·         MINIMUM 15 people (the more people the better, but the focus is creativity)
·         Theme: National Education (try to deviate from traditional ideas about Singapore being a small fishing village etc etc and Raffles coming to Singapore. Try to find recent events that celebrate Singapore’s mark on the international stage, and other major developments Singapore played a part in e.g. the A380 plane)
·         HA duty: Rally people and collate a list of people who are willing to perform by 14^th MONDAY NIGHT LATEST!!
·         Try to sound out to your classmates for a list of ideas we can work on.
·         1^st meeting on Tuesday the 15^th, 4.30pm

3)      Racial Harmony Day
·         Essay-writing competition
·         Each house to submit 10 essays in a variety of languages – either English, Chinese, Malay or Tamil
·         200 words
·         Theme: “Many Faces, One Singapore”
·         Entry can be in the form of an essay, short story etc.
·         Send to my email by 21^st July 2008!!
·         Assessment Rubrics: Sophistry of language, creativity etc.
·         Essay is allowed to be accompanied by one graphic
·         Pairwork is allowed, house points are awarded

4)      Class flag
·         Each class will be given a piece of red cloth (1x1.5m) which they are supposed to design and paint a flag. This flag will represent their class at every house event

so i really really need your help, please try to help volunteer by your own, i don't want to have to ask people everytime there's some competition. basically just tell me if you wanna help in soccer, racial harmony day essay or national day. the flag isn't so important yet and i can do it myself if you all want, so yeah
