Tonight is something i will never truly forget. The experience was so overwhelming. What a way to end my high school career by performing for the New Jersey Nets at the Continental Arena. How awesome is it when you know you're only a few steps away from Jason Kidd and just walked by Vince Carter. And how fucking crazy it is to watch the Nets' girls practice right in front of your very eyes, especially the hot asian one. Just being backstage was an amazing experience. The color guard performance was quick. To hear the audience cheer and to know you're the center of attention among thousands of people is crazy. I fucking love it.The $100 seats were decent. The game went well with a victory for the Nets. Nice talk with Colonel in his huge ass excursion. And now i'm tired.

I BEASTED on my calc test. I'm doing really well in all my classes, excluding environmental. I don't know why. Nhoj made a good point the other day, but i doubt that's the reason. Hmm ... too bad i didn't have this type of focus in the beginning of the year. Oh well. I just have to maintain this flow for the rest of the year.

So in two days is the sweet 16. ready? no. But i'm pretty sure we'll pull this off. Dress rehearsal tomorrow.

1984 is a fucking good book. This is one of the very few books from the course curriculum that i genuinely enjoy. George Orwell is a genius.

Yesterday was busy. Woke up mad early to go to school for drill team practice. The practice was short but still productive, especially for color guard. After practice, gary, john, carl, and i headed to the philippine bread house for some military ball business. We bought some food to munch on and met up with jedda. Afterwards i walked with jedda all the way to highland and met up with the rest of the cottilion people. The sweet 16 is less than a week away. hahaha. I have faith in us but we still need a lot of practice. After practice mo and i got picked up for academic challenge. We are going to BEAST at regionals. no doubt. We left gary's at nine to head to unicel's house for her father's birthday. good times good times.

Now i am here trying to finish up 1984. i love this book.

extravaganza 2006 was a success. ps 17 seemed larger when i was a freshmen. the acts were pretty good. hot shit from caitlin and the break dancers. nice singing performances. of course there were some quirks but overall it was great. modelling was fun. mwahaha I WIN with my 80s and 90s outfit. hot shit son. i had to leave right after the show because of SATs. mad whack.

so i woke up and took the SATs at licoln high school. ehhh .. dont know. hopefully i did better. walked from lincoln all the way to olmc. sweet 16 practice. i love the dances. afterwards academic challenge at mar's house. healthy food .. umm .. yeah. retaining absolutely NOTHING. found out unicel and richmond were in my house. picked them up and went to the 2 dollar cineplex. nothing good so decided to go to the coach house!!! first time ever. mo ordering SALAD. weirdo. later went to hoboken to have some coldstone. then back to gary's house to watch some phantom of the opera. i've watched that movie so many times. blahh. OMG! on the ride home i saw an opposum. the first time EVER. that was quite eventful.

so today i went to chinatown with mara to celebrate chinese new years. next time we'll speak ASIAN. haha. lots of fun ... well for me at least. beating people up with the umbrella is always fun. rain sucks. there was so much confetti that the rain started turning purple. gross. mad polluting. food was fucking good. stayed there mad long because we were eating snails. hahaha. i hate weird people. crazy family. i love the dragons. tiny waffle pancakes are orgasmic. went back to world trade so mara could buy new shoes because hers were too wet and mushy.

so this weekend was a lot of firsts. first time modelling, going to the coach house, seeing an opposum, and celebrating chinese new years. great weekend. so now i should go and memorize this stupid sonnet for the gibster.

this week has been tiring. trying to do some last minute extra work to pull up the grades has been a pain in the ass. curse this inner nerd of mine. i am a fucking nerd and i'm not going to deny it. oh well. however, this week is midterms and i can't seem to focus. senioritis can also affect the nerds at heart. fuck this. i want to sleep.

yesterday i was awoken by the sweet voice of marilyn van den broeck. barf. we walked around kennedy blvd in the greenville section for ad journal. failure. everyone had signs of "no soliciting". neptune bakery is awesome. later, went to michelle's cottilion practice. OHH .. yeah .. i never mentioned that. yeah .. so i'm in her court. mwahaha. the court is awesome. two more weeks until the party and we still have to learn one more dance. haha. we'll pull through. spanish cottilions are always the most challenging. tux fitting. mo and his hat. F. had an hour to kill so mo, richmond, and i decided to go to chilis. treated them bitches out. monterey chicken. orgasm. then got a ride to the nets versus celtics game. almost all of mcnair was there. color guard performance was awesome. nice work flamingos. february 8 is going to be the guys. nets versus knicks. wish us luck. nets kicked major ass. left early to beat traffic. hooters was crowded. went to ruby tuesdays instead. i was fucking full as hell. chilis, continental food, and then ruby tuesdays. good combination but a killer on the stomach. good conversation with some seniors. still anxious for graduation.
